Agree with the above...also can get squid salad. Only a 100 or so calories, really tasty too.

I used to use the one at my local community center, but now I have one at home. It's a Schwinn 420, compact compared to many, durable, not the top of the line and not the bottom of the heap either. It does the job famously. I bought it used for a $100--worth every penny.

I oven roast a bunch of veggies. Then I make roasted veggie and hummus sandwiches out of the low cal bread of your choice. Tasty and lasts all week.

I just read your blog. Such is the evil hormonal cycle, right? But you're right, tomorrow is a new day and a new week and you can do it. One weekend will not curtail your goals. You can do it! Here's to a better week, cheers.

Ginger also aids with digestion. Many digestion teas have a ginger base to them.

Hola! I'm on a mission to lose 40+ pounds. I almost made my goal a few years ago, quit, and the pounds slowly started to creep back on. All of the sudden I was closer to my all time high than I was to my low. I've been using MFP since the end of March (my sister led me to it as well). I don't have kids, but I don't have a…

I have to pick just one?!?!?! Hmmmm.... Nope, can't do it, they're all my favorite. The 80's were a great decade for tunes and music videos made on a shoestring budget. My favorite video was Ah-Ha's "Take on Me" though. :)

"Skinny Girl Margarita" One bottle has a little over six servings. A serving is 4oz and will cost you a 100 calories, compared to several hundred for a standard Margarita. I found it sold at my local grocery store, a little spendy, but worth it for the occasional splurge and definitely stronger than I expected.

My sister told me to try "Skinny Girl Margaritas" 1-4oz serving is only 100 calories! Much better compared to the 400-500 standard calories. I just bought a bottle, not sure how they taste yet, but looking forward to it. I found it at my local supermarket, but here's the official website:…

Welcome! I too lost weight and then gained it back and am now working to reach my goals (which includes losing around 15 more lbs by July). MFP friends are a huge motivator for me (feel free to add me if you'd like). I also allow my friends to view my food and exercise diaries. This helps me with accountability and…

ROFL!!! This has happened to me too! Thanks for posting, this is quite theraputic. Here's mine: Hanukkah, my half sister and brother each got a guitar and amp. What did I get from my dad and step mom? A $10 gift card to Wal-Mart STILL in the Wal-Mart bag with the receipt! When I looked at the date and time of purchase it…

I too am a New Mexican and VERY picky! Your comment just convinced me to try it though. B-U-M-P!

Camelback FTW!

Welcome! I too was the "Monday" girl. I love MFP though, and I hope you do too. If you're looking for encouragement, praise, or a snarky comment, feel free to add me as a friend. Best of luck on your journey!

Have you tried taking measurements? That may show you some results when the scale doesn't and thus keep you motivated. Also...drinking enough water? Good luck and don't give up!
-
I'd go with lightly active.

AWESOME! Congratulations, your hard work is paying off.

Welcome back! You can totally do this, you already did it before and it sounds like your fire has been reignited. Eating at night is hard for me too. Here's the thing, most of the time I'm eating because I'm bored. Here's some of my strategies for avoiding the dreaded night time munchies. 1. The kitchen closes at 8 pm. No…

Great start! You can absolutely do this. Just focus on building momentum. Best of luck to you.

Drink a couple of glasses of water, that hungry feeling will likely go away. If not, try a piece of low cal gum and find something to keep your mind busy.
