why am i here? because my body/mind/soul says it's time....i am willing at this time....this feels like a very good way to do things...it is not driving me crazy (like diets do)...there is so much choice....there is so much learning.....it gives me hope....it gives me a way to be accountable....other people inspire me......

i had a wonderful salad and my home made olive oil and apple cider vinegar dressing. i topped that off with some raw sunflower seeds (shelled) and rye crisps.

spinach and cottage cheese lasagna.......beans and salad........roasted peppers and rice......corn tortillas, beans, cheese, salad.......tofu........veggie/tomato sauce and pasta (w cheese).....lentil veggie soup.....

i absolutely agree: it's ok to be a slow runner. i ran for years in the past and was never fast. but i did lose weight and keep it off and was as fit as i've ever been........fast forward a couple of decades and i no longer have the knees for running. make sure you try to find turf to run on as cement will break you down!

mine happen to be nike at this point in time. just go for the most comfortable shoe for you. also: a good warm up for ankles is to sit on a chair (or stand and lean against a wall or a tree!) and just rotate your ankles around left, then right, a number of times. loosens them up.
