my body just feels better when i have some raw food every day. so that can either be a salad or chopped veggies and low-everything dip (even olive oil and lemon juice or apple cider vinegar makes a good dip) or raw fruit. i rarely eat fruit that is not raw. raw chashews or almonds are a favorite, too.

i make 'fries' using fresh potato cut into wedges (or whatever size or shape i fancy), spray with oil, add a tad of sea salt and BAKE them in the oven. you, of course, still have the full numbers count on the potato but it's not deep fried. they are amazingly good.
