Along with weighing and measuring everything, I also slowed down when I eat. I could whip through a meal in record time. I find that when I eat slower I consume a lot less. Made a huge difference for me.

I never thought of using Leslie to get ready for curling.....great idea! We start curling next month so I'm definitely going to give that a try.

5 miles outside and at work. Then 2 hours canning tomatoes (hoping all those trips from the stove to the sink count for something). Hmmmm I'm not sure what that brings my total to I will have to go back and check. Great summer hot day...excellent walking weather. Deb

Well I must be the odd duck here because I am kind of looking forward to winter and everything it brings. Jean, I can't remember which workout it was but Leslie said once that you could actually just walk in place during the entire workout if you wanted... but that she did the side steps and kicks, etc... to make it interesting. (I think it was Walk Away the Pounds for the Abs 3 Mile wo.) But don't take any gold stars away…

Great day for a walk....its cool outside so I opened the windows and let in that cool breeze while I walked....felt great 5 miles with DVD 17/75 @Bandit I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures!

Supplemamma Glad to hear your dad is doing better....its stressful when a parent is ill. Stress is probably the biggest factor in your weight gain now so don't be so hard on yourself. Walking is a wonderful way to release some of that stress so even a few trips up an down the hospital hall may make a huge difference. I…

So I did the Tuesday walk on the Ultimate 5 Day walk and absolutely love it. The music in some of the miles is great, love the fact that every mile offers different foot work so that is a relief maybe I won't get so bored with this. I went to pre order tonight and Amazon wouldn't let me....so I found a couple others that looked like they would be fun. Walk it off in 30 days and 5 day Walk Plan. Today was the first time I could do my walk in a couple of weeks. Did 2 miles and my knee started protesting so will have to get back into this gradually.
