  • Good Morning..... I re-adjusted my calories goals to match those that were recommended here. The recommend 2980 calories a week, which I think is doable and easier for my lazy butt to track....Anyway I surpassed that goal and burned 3188 and I lost 3.2 lbs....Ii think some of that was from being a bit bloated from that…
  • I did a 2.5 mile walk for an 1 1/2 hours, 20 minute real age beginner's workout. plus I'm in the process of moving so I was packing boxes and moving them around the house......I don't think I was going to burn that much, but I guess moving is a going thing for weight loss.....
  • Thanks....Just logged calories burned for today...wasn't sure I was going to do it, but I passed the 700 mark....I made it 738.
  • Hey folks, I want in on this too....Unlike everyone else I don't have a polar, I have a sportline from Walmart....Not what I wanted, but it was a gift so I'm not complaining. • [Anyone have problems with Tyson chicken? I can't eat it, it makes me sick. [/quote] I'm not a fan of Tyson Chicken....For some reason it gives me a bad stomach ache...I have no problem with Perdue chicken. Back in 2008, Tyson was caught by the USDA for injecting hormones into chickens before they were hatched....Also if…
  • Hi Everyone, Got a question for all of you....Are any of you taking any supplements to offset any of the vitamins lost from not eating wheat? I was watching Dr. Oz the other day and a woman with Celiac asked if there was anything she could do because she feels tired all the time....He recommended that she take L-Carnitine.…
  • I have been feeling the same way and decided to try going gluten free...I have been doing it for about 2 weeks now....I haven't noticed much of a difference except for the fact that I don't feel so bloated.... I have read that it could take up to a couple of months to see or feel any different....I never thought that there…

  • I was thinking the same thing....I noticed that I have been having the same problem for the last few days...
  • I just saw in the supermarket that Betty Crocker has GF brownies, chocolate and yellow cake, and chocolate chip cookies....Their website has some recipes for carrot cake, pineapple upside down cake and marble cake...
  • I like Glutino's corn bread........
  • I'm giving up gaining weight.........I'm also giving up chocolate candy and soda....I have an unhealthy obsession with soda....I'm not a big cake eater or chips eater so that's not a problem..
  • FYI......Ian's chicken nuggets...very disappointing....less chicken than a McD's nugget.....It was all breading(potato) and very dry....
  • I just happened to find the one I have by accident in my supermarket. I can't seem to find any good recipes online. I get recipes sent to me from Gluten free club.com. The one thing about this site is that it is a paysite.
  • I also found a cookbook: The Gluten-Free Good Health cookbook. It's by Annalise G. Roberts & Claudia Pillow. They also have another book called Gluten Free Baking classics.
  • Billy, I found a few things in my local supermarket freezer that are gluten free.... Van's Wheat free, Gluten Free waffles---homestyle or blueberry...The homestyle ones are good, just had those for breakfast. I also found Ian's chicken nuggets, haven't tried those yet, but they may be good for the kids. There are also…
  • Thanks for all the bread ideas. Whats funny is before I decided to go gluten free, I hadn't touched a piece of bread for weeks. The day I started was the day I was craving a sandwich.... Why does that always happen? Thanks everyone for all the posts, you are making my life easier to figure out this lifestyle. I haven't…
  • Question: I just started eating gluten free this week, but have noticed that I woke up with a headache for 4 out of the 5 days so far? Is this a withdrawal or not related?
  • I could use some recipes too especially breakfast. I can only eat so many eggs a week......
  • I would think so....Cardio at least....
  • Hi Everyone, I'm new to this thread, but not new to dieting. I have not been officially diagnosed with celiac or gluten sensitivity. For the past year I just haven't felt right. I have been to the doctor about 10 times last year. Over the weekend I was reading an article in For Women First and I have been dealing with all…
