I did Level 2, Day 6 today and was so proud because I felt really strong and put my all into the workout this morning. Then I BLEW it and ate SIX Pop Tarts this evening!! I don't know why I sabotage myself like this, but I am really upset. It's been a kind of stressful and tiring week teaching Vacation Bible School and…

Finished Level 2, Day 5, which means I'm HALFWAY there! I am really proud of that because I don't think I've ever done a workout video that consistently. I'm not taking measurements again until the end, but I do feel like my abs have tightened up a little. I also feel like I can handle the cardio sections better.

You definitely want to get and stay at your goal weight for at least a year, if not more, before considering surgery. My kids are 8 and 6, and I thought about a tummy tuck after two C-sections with cuts both horizontal and vertical. Between the scars and the skin and the stretch marks, my stomach looked awful!! But it is…

Great job with the clothes and scale! Hope you feel 100% soon.

I just finished Level 2, Day 4 and it actually went well getting it finished at 7:30 a.m.! Of course I had to get up earlier than that just to be awake and moving enough to work out.

Just finished Level 2, Day 3. It is so much easier to get it over with as early in the morning as I can stand to do it! I will have to do the Shred every day this week around 7 a.m. because I will be teaching Vacation Bible School from 9-12, and I know from past experience that I am absolutely beat after that!!

Colleen ~ thanks for the encouragement! believeinmagic ~ Level 2 is not so bad. If you can handle level 1, you'll be fine. I got a little bit sore in my trapezius (?) muscles -- whatever is between your shoulder blades -- because she puts a lot of emphasis on the upper back muscles in this level. But thanks to all the…

I just finished Level 2, Day 2 today. I wanted to wimp out, but I made myself start and once I did, I always tell myself it's only 25 minutes. So I'm glad to have worked out today! I was wondering where everyone is also :( I've been having kind of a down couple of days (mostly likely due to TOM!!) where I feel discouraged…

I will add to the other posters who said they gained weight while on Zoloft. My OB-GYN prescribed it for anxiety related to PMS. I think the reason I gained weight is that I just stopped caring about anything... I no longer had anxiety, but I was in a fog. Some stress is good because it motivates you to change negative…

You look fabulous and you got some killer arms/shoulders, girl!

I did Level 2, Day 1 this morning and liked it. I was getting sick of Level 1 already, but the new moves were interesting and some of them did seem easier (or else I'm just in better shape from finishing 10 days of Level 1 :)

I just finished Level 1, Day 10. Nervously anticipating Level 2 tomorrow!
-
I just finished Level 1, Day 9 after taking off two days due to being sick. I must say, the time off helped me feel refreshed and my thighs finally stopped being sore! However, I must be getting used to Level 1 because when I first started, my HRM said I was burning 180-200 calories, whereas now I am down to 145-160…

PMS has been really hard on me too, particularly with bloating and anxiety. I gave up coffee and have green tea now instead, and I think that's made a huge difference in reducing both my anxiety level and breast tenderness.

I also find it annoying that you can't skip the intro, though thankfully, it's short. I use that time to get a resting heartbeat. Another thing that cracks me up every time is at the third circuit of cardio on level one of 30 DS, I think right before the jump rope, Anita gives this look to Jillian like she wants to kill…

I never had a "moment," either. I just started making a lot of little changes that are starting to add up. Try making a list of all the positive changes you've made in your life since you started your weight loss journey and you'll see how far you've come. Besides eating better and working out more regularly, some of the…

I should be on level 1, day 9 today, but I'm sick in bed with the same stomach virus that both of my boys had. Oh well... they got over it pretty quickly and hopefully I will be able to pick it right up again tomorrow. I hate being sick... it makes me feel like I'm wasting time!

Great job!!! Those of us who have been there or are hoping to be soon understand how exciting this milestone is.
-
Great job!! You look fantastic!

I just finished Level 1, Day 7 and I'm glad to be finished today. I didn't get much sleep due to one of my kids being sick and up through most of the night with a stomach virus. As a result, I didn't give it my all, and according to my HRM burned 157 calories rather than my usual 175-185. I didn't feel like doing it, but…

I'm sure it's hard to accept, but you probably have to trust that you will know when you're the right weight. One of the ways we got overweight in the first place was by not listening to what our bodies tell us; now as part of the process of losing weight and maintaining, we have to pay attention. I am also 5'8" and…

Great ideas, thanks! I wish the people I worked with were more health conscious.

You look super!! Thanks for the inspiring pics and keep up the great work!

I woke up this morning really not feeling like doing Day 6, but after procrastinating a little bit, I did it and I'm so glad I did. My quads are a bit sore, but other than that I'm feeling great. I must go buy a new sports bra today, lol. I'm not even that large chested, but the jumping jacks and all the other cardio moves…

Whoa, check out the abs on you! Way to go!!

Day 5 was easier for me too. It is still a tough workout. When I feel weak, I just don't go as deep into the moves, or I lift lighter weights. I could see this being a video I could start over again after completing the whole thing and working through it with heavier weights. I use between 2 and 5 pounds now. Those who…

Wow! Great job! I'm on day 5 of 30 Day Shred, and I'd LOVE to get results like yours.

I also got a Polar FT4 about a month ago after reading a lot of reviews on MFP and Amazon. I am VERY pleased with it... it's easy to use and motivates me to work out more!
-
I was dragging today on Day 4.... I made it all the way through, but not with a lot of energy. I hope tomorrow is better!
-
I got through Day 3! My quads were a little sore, but I took a walk for 30 minutes after the video and it seemed to make my legs feel better. Then a nice cool shower! I love that the 3rd circuit feels like the easiest to me, so that I know if I just make it through the first two it's smooth sailing. I am really huffing and…
