How about naturally flavouring your water. Plain water or soda water and add a couple of slices of lime, ginger and fennel seeds. Natural and the ginger and fennel calm the tummy. I have also added frozen fruit berries, peach a small piece of cinnamon or whole cloves. Yummy and I don't miss the aspartame or sucralose.

I weigh everything except my salad greens and am getting good at estimating my spinach. I weigh my protein powder for my smoothie and not rely on the scoop.

I love cranking my tunes as I go for a brisk walk. I track with MMF and have a rail trail close so if I plan on 4 k , I will get to 2 k and feel the adrenaline rush and keep going a bit further to make it a 5 or 6 k walk. Currently have a Lab and a shepherd but used to have a bearded collie. The bear die had such a wonderful temperament and would recommend if you have the time to groom the coat.

All bran works for me. A half cup serving has 90 calories and a whopping 12 g of fibre. My local store brand is cheaper and has the approx same breakdown for calories and fat. I eat it with low fat plain or Greek yogurt with either fresh fruit or berries every day for breakfast. Yum.

I eat bananas regularly and it doesn't affect me. Too much iron can also have a constipation effect I need to eat at least 30 g of fibre per day as one of my medications has a constipating effect.
