My son will be 2 in July, and I'm still struggling with the weight I gained during pregnancy. I gained about 56 lbs. total, and I've lost all but around 10-15 lbs. of it. Some came off right after I had him, then I stalled for a long time. The rest has started to come off since I re-joined MFP and began working out again…

I agree with a lot of what is said in this post. I sure wouldn't like it if my husband/boyfriend said something like this. In fact, my husband actually never would say anything like this, BUT that's not saying he has never THOUGHT something similar. I think this guy just had the guts to say what a lot of men think. That…

What motivated me to finally stick to a plan was to try something new. I had not used MFP before, so that was new to me. I also bought a FitBit One and have been using it to keep track of my steps, flights of stairs, etc. It helps that other people in my office also have FitBits, so we get a little bit competitive.

I figure what people feed their children is their business, but I do worry about their health and wonder if they eat that junk all the time when I see that kind of thing out in public. My son is almost 2, and has treats but I try to limit them. He does not get soda because he just doesn't need it, and his juice is limited…

I was able to pull out a pair of dress pants from before I was pregnant and wear them yesterday! Granted, they were loose before and they weren't loose yesterday, but it's still a victory to me!

i use the Fitbit One, and I really like it. I don't believe it should be submersed in water, though.

I agree with what everyone else has said, except that it's the government's and society's fault that you're overweight. I'm pretty sure I'm overweight because I like to eat! It took trying something new to get me motivated to stick to a plan. I bought a Fitbit annd joied MFP. I had success with Weight Watchers in the past,…

I feel your pain. I'm also mother to a toddler, and I work full-time. I don't work out as much as I did before I had my son, but I have discovered that I have to work out first thing in the morning. I just set my alarm for 30 minutes earlier, and try to drag my butt out of bed. It isn't easy, and sometimes I do hit snooze…

I love my Fitbit One. I was worried about losing it, so I clip it to the middle of my bra most of the time instead of to my pants. That way, I don't hit it on something. That seems to have worked very well for me so far! I've not tried another brand, as this is my first fitness tracker.
