What you are missing here - is a Doctor's opinion! Please see your Doctor. As much as we would like to believe that all our medical ailments can be cured through dietary changes....that's not always the case. You may need medication. See your doctor!

Tell him how you feel. And by that I mean tell him you want another baby. If you don't tell him, you may wind up resenting him in the future.

He sounds like a weak man to be so easily manipulated be his family. You don't want to be stuck with that for the rest of your life. Dump him.

Dagnabbit.....a troll!!! I'm slow this morning, my coffee must not have kicked in yet. :drinker:

There are many reasons people over eat, develop bad eating habits or even worse, eating disorders. It's not a one size fits all psychology. Congrats on your weight loss so far. And BTW - what was your reason?

5' 7 1/2" 144 pounds I eat 1400 - 1500 calories a day I burn approx 200 - 400 calories per exercise session Would like to weigh 140 and then work on body composition from there age - a ripe old 54

The scale is a poor measurement for progress and fitness. You're not overweight. You look fit. Why do you feel you still need to lose 13 pounds?

Another young girl with an unrealistic idea of how her body should look and a distorted image of how her body actually looks. It's sad. I blame society. You are not fat. If you TRULY feel you fat, get professional counseling. Stop 'dieting'. Eat more, lift heavy weights to change your body composition. Learn to love…

I've been living a healthy lifestyle for a long long time and there's one thing I've learned - people are not always going to be on board with you. And quite frankly it's their life, their decision, they're free to live as they choose. As are you! And you've chosen to live healthy! Guess what- healthy people do go out and…

Nope. But you'll probably get a wicked case of diarrhea:sick: . My advice, enjoy making healthy tasty drinks with your juicer BUT please eat sensible meals along with it!

Just shake it off hun!! There are a lot of jerks on the internet (as in real life too). And more than likely he was just rattling your chain and trying to piss you off. Avoid drama and stress!!!
-
Yes you absolutely can LOSE weight without exercise. All that is needed is the proper calorie deficit, stay consistent with it and log every single bite.
-
Nope, I don't log it. It's just bonus burn!

I'm in the same boat - peri-menopausal and storing fat in the mid-section. I kept my delicious carbs... but started hitting the weights harder, less cardio more strength training. I'm getting results!

54 years old from Chicago! It's very hard the older you get but it's possible!!! Keep at it! Feel free to add me as a friend!

Heavier weight - less reps :flowerforyou:

No no and no. 1 - that's a total of 11,000 calories a week which averages out to 7 days at 1571. Why not just eat the 1571 calories a day? 2 - if you're still dead set on doing it, then at least stick to their guidelines of 2000 calories and DO NOT lower it to 1210 3 - no

Yes! What sikehl said!!!!

I can only speak for myself. Sunday's are generally my 'fun food' day. I eat whatever I want and I don't obsess over my calories or macros. This has worked for me. I've been maintaining a healthy weight and working out for years. 'Cheat day' may not be the best term to use. But if it works for you who cares what you call…

I fall into the category of not single, but not married:)) My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years
-
How many calories are you netting a day?
-
Clarification - I put it on my face and hands everyday.....not entire body.

Thoughts on aging - when I was 24, I thought 54 was ancient. Now at 54, I can look in the mirror, acknowledge that I've aged, and shrug it off. Honestly...I never thought I'd still feel this young and be able to work out at the level I do! Age is a state of mind! Thoughts on anti-aging - workout! eat healthy food drink…

MFP will do the calculation for you if you plug in your stats. If you select 2lbs a week it will most likely tell you to eat 1200 calories a day (too low in my opinion). I'd rather go slow and steady. Honestly....if you did 1500 calories a day, stayed consistent, log everything, you'll lose. No need to starve yourself. BTW…
-
Sounds legit! I'm gonna cancel my gym membership!
-
What's the estimated calorie burn on that?

Wait?! What?! No cleansing or detoxing? Or green coffee beans, raspberry ketones? I don't have to give up pasta for the rest of my life? And what if I have a desk job?! Do I need to become a gluten free vegan low carb intermittent faster? Should I not eat after 7pm?!?!? Sorry I've been on the forums to much lately.…
