Not sure how you are about dairy products but Ive read that milk is the perfect bedtime snack because you get those nutrients while you're sleeping. If it's a solid snack you want, cottage cheese/greek yogurt is also a good choice, low on carbs and high on protein.

Can't you just reduce your sodium intake? If weight is your concern excess sodium will retain more water= more weight. Quickest way is the sauna. Next would be on a treadmill with a sweater.

I dont know about the weight watchers and if they even consider loss of muscle mass. You definitely need to up your calories but make sure they're clean. If you don't want to get into a catabolic state (lose muscle mass) you need to eat more and more protein as well.

worst that can happen is you gain water weight from the extra sodium/carbs, that will go away soon, but your night of dining out doesn't seem at all unhealthy to me. Eat as you would any other day and enjoy your dining out without dwelling on it.
