  • So I just started 30 DS today and I'm wondering how to add it under my exercise because it is part cardio and part strength, I'm thinking you can put it under custom exercise but not sure if you just split and do 10 min. of cardio and 10 min. of strength to get your calories burned? Any tips would be appreciated!
  • Welcome aboard and way to make a decision early to try to make steps toward a "healthy" life for your sake and that of your kids. The journey is not always easy but the first step is deciding to do it and not making any more excuses. You can do this and this website and the individuals on it will inspire you to keep going.…
  • Great job, keep up the hard work. You look great!
  • It's good to mix cardio with strength training in intervals, your scale won't change as much as your body measurements and the way your clothes fit, that is the real reward. Scales don't tell the whole story but this is the best method I've found so far. About 2 years ago I was doing this and I lost like 13 inches between…
  • That's why I love this site, it makes you be accountable and once you see the numbers you think twice about having that again and try to find a better option. I keep telling myself that when I hit a maintenance phase I can perhaps splurge but right now while I'm trying to lose I need to stay focused and not blow my whole…
  • Just remember you can't be the "best you" for everyone else if you don't take some time to get yourself to a better place of wellness. I just had to come to that realization a few weeks ago. My husband and I work full time jobs and are pastors of a youth ministry on the side, I have a 9 month old and just moved into a…
  • Welcome, this site is awesome. It is great to keep you accountable for everything you are eating and encouraging you to exercise. Takes all the work out of counting calories. Good luck with your weight goal.
  • Yeah obviously you can't work out like that all the time but it is meant to kind of give you a kickstart and the real gift of it for me was having a week apart from all my responsibilities of work, mothering, being a wife and doing ministry at church to just focus on my health and wellness. It is very hard to get that and…
  • I think they do make a difference. Especially moisture wicking socks and shirts. I am not a runner so I don't know about special shorts but I get a lot from the Xersion line at JCPenneys and you can get them on good sales and not spend a ton but they dry quickly and keep a lot of moisture from the skin and they fit great…
  • Keep up the good work!
