I use the bar code option on the app if possible and then search USDA for items such as produce and meat to get the most accurate calories.

Please don't eat lower then 1200 calories unless under Dr supervision and if you are nursing, you need more calories. follow the myfitnesspal goal set up and eat in moderation. I eat ice cream almost every night and lost 3.6 pounds this week. We have to fuel our bodies to make them work efficiently.

Fitbit to me is a fancy pedometer that helps me move more by joining challenges,etc on there. I do sync it to mfp, but I don't follow the calories it says I burn, I go by myfitnesspals goals. I also use a polar ft4 to track my actual workouts instead of using the activity tracker on the fitbit.

like over estimating or under estimating? I have the fitbit charge, not the charge HR, maybe try asking on the fitbit forums. I use a polar ft4 with chest strap for my workouts.

The fitbit charge has the time on the device, therefore not requiring a watch. I use mine daily and the charge lasts a week.

you can edit your weight in the personal settings on here, not sure about editing every day for the last year but you could edit your starting weight to show how much you've lost so far.

a pound is a pound is a pound, muscle is denser and therefore takes up less space but its still a pound. say for example someone that has more muscle mass will appear thinner then someone with more body fat on them.

I choose not to eat at those places for a few reasons, 1. I don't like the idea that everyone has free dibs on the food, ie. dirty hands touching it and what not. 2. don't know how fresh the food is and 3. I prefer fresh home cooked meals that I know what ingredients are being used and how much.

I got really sick after eating some strawberries a few years ago, and now I'm very hesitant to eat anything with strawberries.

See your Dr. we don't know your medical history and it could be anything. Also, I don't buy into the weight gain before and after TOM. I am currently suffering PMS symptoms and lost 3.6 pounds this week. Do you use a HRM watch of any kind to track your calorie burns?

i use fitbit charge and polar ft4, I track my steps with fitbit and like the social part of it for motivation but noticed the fitbit gives me crazy burns on things like aerobics, so I got a polar ft4 and I love it!
