There's hope! I feel like no matter how much I lose, my post-baby belly "squish" will be forever there! But maybe not! You look GREAT!

Yeppers! Its kinda nifty if you think about it. Want to eat that super tasty treat that would put you over your calories? You can still earn it!
-
It is if you're completely sedentary. If you're going by TDEE-whatever% then you don't add in exercise calories because its assumed within your weekly activity.
-
And I've never had a preference for guys. My husband is about 18%, I believe and he's hawwttt.
-
I'm personally aiming for mid to upper teens (about 18% for me). I think its hot if you got good muscles. I personally don't like that particular picture on the chart though...weird angle and she looks like she's sucking in.

The best way I can describe it is that its like rice....but even smaller. Its the sand of the pasta world, haha. But not quite so grainy! ;)
-
I roast a whole zuchinni in the oven with a tbsp of olive oil until it slightly chars on the bottom. Then I use any pasta sauce of my choice, cheese or anything else and chow. So tasty,

Ditto. My 15 month-old eats more than that. The best thing you can do for yourself is figure out your TDEE and subtract about 20%. You may be losing weight, but you don't want to lose any lean mass (MUSCLE) that you have or you'll just end up looking like a smaller version of what you look like now i.e. skinny fat. I'm…

While I was nursing exclusively, I could eat whatever I wanted and still lost 30 pounds of weight. Its really good that you're choosing to log and track...and its even better that you know the numbers weren't right to begin with. Make sure to take it easy, but also don't be afraid to eat in a SLIGHT deficit. I believe its…

I noticed everyone's posts and was just about to say this. I don't understand the science behind it, but for everyone saying this person should eat more may actually be setting OP up for weight gain. My mother is 5'4 and once she reaches her goal weight she can up her calories to 1200...where she will MAINTAIN. Its very…

Hubby has a small black!

Both of my parents have had gastric bypass, and I believe that its very common to retain more water than people who still have normal piping. Adding a new exercise routine, regardless of having bariatric surgery, will usually result in some retained water. Its not a big deal. The reason I KNOW that its just water is…

In for the hot accents. Teehee. :drinker:

Most protein powder isn't that high calorie, unless its a bulker.

Who can resist a cutie with bright red hair?! JK. Don't do it.

Haha. I'm pretty sure I just called you a jerk in another thread. But hey, I'll call it like it is. I'm super active on here, I try to eat a good balance of stuff, and stay active by using my FitBit Flex. You can friend me if you'd like. But be prepared. :)

What a jerk.

I'm 7 inches shorter than you and practically weigh the same! I don't think I look horrendous at this weight (I'm getting thinner, though to help conceive a baby!) so I'm sure you look beautiful! Of course, its all about how you feel about yourself. You're definitely at a healthy BMI and if you feel you want to tighten…

Well, I don't think I could've said it better myself TeaBea!

According to your profile you're 28...so not only do you look fabulous but its pretty age appropriate, too! Sure you can practically see your butt cheeks, but if mine looked that good and I could feed confident in that dress, I'd be cat walking all over the place! I'm a mother, and although I dress more reserved now than…

I've only been married two years, but I've learned a lot. I've learned that many people, especially in my generation (I'm 22) are in it for "me". I guess that's why we're known as the entitled generation. Unfortunately, this mindset is the exact reason why people get divorced. My husband and I have a child, and since she…

Get off the treadmill. And maybe running just isn't your thing. There's many other ways to get cardio, whether it be walking, cycling, circuits, etc. And you could do this indoor or out!

You can start by sending me a friend request. I'm on here every day, very active with my friend's list, and somewhat active on the forums, as well. I've lost 50 pounds in the past, and back to lose baby weight, and then some to get ripped! I'd love to help you out, support you, and answer any questions that you may have!

On a smaller scale, though, I can kinda see the light at the end of all those bananas. Eating more whole foods is great for you. I've upped my intake of them myself, and it has worked wonders on my mood/energy and my weight loss. So I get her drift. Kinda.

Right? And once I read the part where it mentioned she suffered from anorexia and bulimia in the past its like, YA THINK? Now its just orthorexia.
-
Its only counterproductive if you let the little, very normal fluctuations upset you and sabotage you.

Get some diaper ointment. If that doesn't work, try Monistat.

If you want to aid in firming up, definitely look into strength training. There's many things you can do right at home, just with your body weight alone to help!

I either pop 4 Advil and lay in the fetal position until they kick in or take a hot bath while I wait. Heating pads are also amazing! Sometimes it makes me fall asleep.
