^^^This. Its pretty much an activity of daily living. The only time it can POSSIBLY be considered exercise is if you're pregnant or something....lol. Folding laundry gets my heart pumping. But even then. More than likely no.

I fell off the wagon at the beginning of my pregnancy and gained 20+ pounds. The past month, I have been eating better and being more active. I have my calories set for 2,000 plus I add in the extra 300 for the second trimester calories. That usually does it for me. I've been maintaining my weight since I got back on here…

I'm due February 16th. I'm going to add you. :)

So true! Its hard to stay positive when you feel like a failure, though! I had borderline GD with my daughter...but issues didn't arise until 36 weeks, thank goodness. I guess its just a hard pill to swallow, since my original weight gain goal was 25 pounds for the entire pregnancy, being that I started out slightly…

This be old news, brah.

I never ask unless it has been implied by them that they are, in fact, pregnant!

There are people who are a size six who shouldn't wear skinny jeans. Everyone's body is accentuated with different cuts. For me, personally, I do best with a mid-waist, boot-cut. If I go the skinny jean route, they can't be super low-cut because I've had a kid. Also, the only skinny jeans I have are from high school, so…

It is a tool. Because if you're not mentally ready to make a permanent lifestyle change you'll lose the weight for a bit, but eventually still screw yourself in the end. You can eff up the surgery! Both my parents have had the bypass. Both still struggle everyday. Its not the easy way or the fun way. I think my mom thought…

I also find them to be relaxing depending on where it is. The ones on my back didn't hurt too much...except near my spine. The one on the top of my forearm was a piece of cake...and the one on my ribs....well, that one was a living hell.

I love the interview!! And who doesn't want to secretly crush on a buff and SMART man?! :blushing:

Absolutely add peanut butter or something to the apple. And don't be afraid to eat more...if you're hungry then eat. Just learn to balance it out later in the day.
-
MMMMMM! I love Lay's Original with ketchup...and leftover boxed mac n cheese with it!

You always hear people say how amazing co-sleeping is and yadda yadda yadda, then these same people turn around and admit that its REALLY hard to wean most co-sleeping children. I haven't been through this myself...we had our daughter in the same room as us, but in her own crib until she was a year. Then when she turned a…

I have never been this genuinely bummed out by a celebrity death at any other point in my lifetime. Just SUCKS. .......

Well at 5'3, 150 pounds...and getting my 10K steps a day I could eat 2300 and lose pretty consistently if I didn't cheat...I'd say stick with the original plan. Its just a plateau...maybe switch up the intensity of your workouts. Could be losing again in a week, could be losing again in a month. Just part of the journey, I…

I normally drink coffee daily (except I"m pregnant and it makes me barf now). Some days I would have a couple cups...other days I would get distracted a have half a cup. Because I varied my consumption from day to day (and never let myself consume more than four cups MAX) my body never had any ill effects. It kept me…

I've heard that 1800 is the bare minimum for maintaining your milk supply. I ate about 2200 while nursing and exercising here and there...worked well. Try and get in touch with WIC or lactation consultants to help get the answers you need. Best of luck!
-
Haha. I don't eat 1200. :P It didn't work for me. Before I got pregnant again I ate about 2300...netting around 1700.

Don't tell me how to live my life!

I had two servings of Honey Bunches of Oats and a cup of whole milk. My favorite. Now thinking about having a yogurt with some berries for a mid-morning snack.

Come to Maine. Then you'll have an even better thread. I'm just getting used to all the stupid things people say. Sometimes I catch my self talking like a Mainer myself and get embarrassed. Lol.

Heeeeelllll no. But I eat his food.

We have each other's codes and passwords for everything. Mostly just because we are married, and sometimes we need to get into on another's stuff to reference an e-mail, or grab a phone number we don't have. I've gotten mad at him before for going through my Facebook conversations but it was only because he was being…

I'm due February 18th! Two weeks after my first turns 2! Anyone feel free to add me. :)

I took a Lamaze class...kinda was useless for me. Its all about breathing techniques and massage techniques. Too bad I didn't want to be touched, nor did I want to be "hee hee"-ing and "hoo-hoo"-ing because it felt...dopey. But the deep breathing was very helpful...pretty much something you can practice on your own…

I've heard of a lot of people that work different parts of their legs everyday. The muscle group can handle it, and from what I've heard (although I don't claim to know as fact) is because its a massive muscle group, its great for releasing growth hormones to help with muscle growth throughout the body.

I'm in my first trimester, which has been tough! I get woken up by hunger, having to pee, because I'm having a hot flash, or just because my hips or knees hurt! When I was in my third trimester with my first, it was tough! Its all about lots of pillows, sleeping slightly upright and even possibly drinking a small cup of…

Oh my gosh! Cysts are the WORST!!! I always had them when I had Mirena, so I feel you, there! Those things hurt! I'm just surprised a stupid fibroid is causing the same kind of pain as a cyst, actually. Must be because everything is growing. -_- I hope everything works out okay for you...sounds scary with the endo.
