Looking at your diary, your problem is not calories, its your macronutrients (Fats, Carbs) Your eating to many grams of fat per day and your dinners should be lower in carbohydrates. Why? Because a lower carbohydrate dinner allows your body to burn its body fat stores during the night while you sleep. Carbohydrates should…

You need to start being honest with yourself if you truly want to control your health. You know very well those burritos are NOT healthy, regardless of what the heck their nutritional information is. Im pretty sure their high fat, high carb, high sodium, all things that are bad for you. Truth be told, when I decided to…

Looking at your diary, you Carbohydrate intake is waayyyyy to high during your dinners. Carbs are a great thing, you body NEEDS carbs for energy, however, when your going over 100grams of Carbs at dinner time, your body is simply not going to digest all of this over night and it WILL begin to store it as body fat. This may…

Sorry but I felt the need to clarify this statement as this is a mistake many people make. Muscle and Fat weight exactly the same..1lb of muscle is equal to 1lb of fat. However, What I think you mean to say is that Muscle is physically leaner than fat and takes up less space. For this reason, the scale may not move even…

The program works, but as mentioned, you have to dedicate atleast an hour to it 6 days a week. Seems like a lot, but consider that most people spend upto 2 hours at the gym and dont get half as much done. Not everyone, but most. Also, like any workout program/schedule, it truly does come down to your nutrition. You can…

Shakeoloy is not a requirement even though the guide notes it. Just eat healthy foods and make sure your consuming a quality protein. Despite the bad rep shakeology gets from people around MFP, its a good product but you dont have to use it. Funny though, half the people knocking shakeology are completely unaware of all…

how many calories per day are you consuming?

if your eating atleast 1200 calories, you dont have to eat what you work out. Remember, weight loss is about a calorie deficit. if your eating everything your burning, your most likely to remina at your current weight. Just make sure you always hit that 1200 mark, dont eat less as a means to lose weight, this will only…

Jester is right. Your body requires a certain amount of healthy fats. Dont fear it, most people do and dont realize that your body requires a little bit of everything in healthy, proportioned sizes. Just like Carbohydrates. For so long we have feared carbohydrates yet our bodies use carbs as a fuel source.

any late snacks by any chance? if so, what kinds? witht he deficit your running, you definitely should be losing. Either something in your diet is sabotaging you, or you may need to kick up to 1300-1400 and let your body readjust since you have already lost 30lbs. Teh body adapts to repetition. sometimes we need to eat…

essentially calories all come from somwhere. 1 gram of Fat has aprox. 9 calories. 1 gram of Protein has aprox. 4 calories and 1 gram of carbohydrates also has aprox 4 calories. Because 1 gram of fat has more calories than any other macronutrient, this is why we need to limit our fat intake each day. Does this help?

try to break up your calories into 3 Main meals (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner-higher calories) and 2-3 snacks in between those meals. The meals dont have to be exact in calories but you dont want to eat a 600 calories breakfast then a 100 calories lunch and dinner you know. keep your 3 main main meals around 250-300 calories (if…

How many calories are you eating per day (not NET)?

Food addiction is absolutely real. When you eat the foods that you like especially, your brain releases chemicals which further trigger the "want and need" for these foods. Like drug or alcohol addiction, it all comes down to chemical reactions within the brain that send impluse signals through your body "asking" for these…

extra cardio wont necessarily speed up results. What your diet. a good 2-3 weeks of really clean food will change your body amazingly quickly, trust me. If you do extra cardio, you need to make sure your eating enough otherwise your gonna run out of energy by the 3rd day then your gonna want to quit because you wont have…

Variety and dont be afraid to try exercises that push you outside of your comfor zone. The bike and elliptical can quickly become boring and mundane, not to mention that your body will get used to these simpel movements. From time to time, mix in a jog or run. The workout classes sound like a great idea. Keep your mind…

no exercise during the cleanse. If followed 100% correctly via the meal plan, you should see great results.

MTYH. you will NOT get bulky by lifting weights. "Bulky" muscle mass comes from the amount of food you consume. Your muscles simply wont get bigger if your not eating a specific amount per day. As long as your running the right amount of calories (somewhere between 1300-1600) depending on your goals, current height,…

LOL. Just incase you think these programs dont build muscle in a sustainable manner. This is my coach, Wayne Wyatt. He achieved this with nothing but P90X and P90X2. Just saying.
