Hey! If I'm hungry and I have the extra calories, I eat them. Otherwise I let them be an added benefit. At the beginning when I was losing weight faster, I was trying to never go above 1500 no matter the exercise calories I gained. I don't know if I lost faster than because of that or because there were the last pounds I…

I don't know when my realization really came but it was almost like all of a sudden I finally loved how I looked. I won't lie when I first started I hated it. I was sitting there thinking this is going to be just like every other time were I try for 2 weeks and then give up. It's hard to change the way you eat if you have…

Thanks for all the great advice!!! I got a couch to 5K phone app that will tell you when to walk and run for each exercise - hopefully it works as well as I hope it does. I usually try to push myself too far too fast and then get burnt out. Slow and steady this time sounds like the best key! Thanks again and happy holidays…

Great job!!! I'm in a very similar position. I'm stuck in a 150 rut and was discouraged. Then I went to the store and picked up size 10 jeans at first but the sales lady kept saying you need to go down a size. I ended with a 6....I'm used to saying I need to go bigger. I still feel "big" but that NSV helped with the…

great NSV. got to laugh at this stuff and take it as a compliment!

Paeli - Definitely agree with what you said. I guess I didn't think about it that way. Thanks!! MrsCon40 - this time I'm doing it for myself which is definitely the key. I think the fastest way to fail at this is to do it for someone else :) and thinking about why people don't complain about not getting the "you've gotten…

Thanks everyone for the feedback! As sad as it is, this is the first time my weight loss journey isn't a diet. It is also the first time it is completely for me. I definitely can't say this for my past attempts which is probably why it failed every time before... Whether I get comments or not, I'm going to keep going…

I can't wait until I can wear the clothes I shrunk the wash/dryer. I can't wait until I can wear that little black dress I saved from high school. I can't wait until I don't flinch when someone touches my mid-section. I can't wait until I don't want those french fries on the fast-food list. I can't wait until my bra size…

When I found myself spending an hour going through my pictures on facebook to detag ones were my arms showed or I thought I looked fat. Also during that I found pictures of me in a semi-formal dress I loved and thought I looked good in - I detagged more than 50% of the pics in that dress. That was my turning point. And I'm…

What an amazing story!! You look fantastic and are such an inspiration to us all!! I had the same feeling where I was accepting the weight I was at but secretly hating myself for it at the same time. Thanks for letting me know I wasn't alone :) GREAT JOB!!!

I have a similar problem. I drank more in college and have slowed down a lot since graduating but still go out once a week and it can get hard. How I handle it depends on my mood....usually I stick to low calorie drinks (light beer or gin and tonic if I want liquor) but sometimes I splurge on the fruity drinks (especially…

Thanks! And happy early 50th!! And 10 pounds - that's amazing!! Keep it up

This was also one of my biggest motivators to start losing weight. I was a D at 140 before my weight gain. At my heaviest of mid-170s I was flowing out of a 36G....I'm now at 154 and am in the 36DD - 36DDD range. Hoping they keep shrinking! Good luck!!

I have a test on Wednesday and usually weigh a few pounds less due to stress. But even if I gain a pound back - 3 pound works for me :) Thanks for all your help with this!!

It isn't logging my weight on the spreadsheet :( I think I may have lost a lot of water weight this week though because it was more than usual!

I was pressed for time tonight and ended up getting fast food for dinner (bad)...BUT I didn't even have the temptation or desire to get french fries! I can't remember that ever happening :) And late NSV from yesterday...a friend told me I looked skinny and asked if I had lost weight. Made my week!
