Yes she did get a big hug. I think she would have bought everything in the store. I had to keep putting things back so she wouldn't go crazy.

I love having homemade egg mcmuffins. Fry a large egg over medium (using Pam to make it not stick). Also, cook a single slice of smoked deli ham in the pan. Put in an english muffin- the ones that only have 100 calories- I think Thomas brand. I like to break the yolk, it is kinda like a sauce for the sandwich. 215 calories

Have you been icing them? I used to use Ace bandages and wrap large ice packs to my shins and the pain would be seriously decreased.

Although I walked for my MA I looked huge! I have hidden or deleted the pictures. I wanna take a million pics in my doctoral robes when I get there and look good!

Take up craft type hobbies? I sew and knit.

Although I would second the "see a doctor" advice, I would also ask if you are taking supplemental vitamins. My boyfriend works out a lot and if he forgets to take his for a couple of days he gets sluggish and feels horrible.

I know that some other people have mentioned swimming, but I want to second (or third) it. It makes such a big difference to my weight loss (the pool was closed for a couple of weeks and despite doing other exercising I lost no weight- then it opened and I went right back to losing weight).

You would really think that people would be smart enough not to ask a chubby woman about a pregnancy! I have been asked twice :( Good luck. Feel free to add me as a friend.

well you could set your start weight at your real start weight and then register all of the early weight loss in a check-in

I have a SwiMP3 player and it works great! The only thing that I don't love is the extra pressure from my goggles on my eyes because it goes under the straps and I can't make the straps any longer. Still, though, it is worth it.

I love swimming. I get a great workout, I don't get all overheated, and I love the feeling of gliding through the water!

I carry protein bars with me to school for lunch because of how easy and transportable they are. I like the Power Crunch Protein Energy Bars. I have tried the French vanilla creme and the peanut butter creme wafers. They are pretty good and feel kinda like desserts. That said, I don't feel like I get proper nutrition when…

While I see your point, I feel like you have eliminated all possible motivators. Very little can be guaranteed to be a constant. So what do you see as workable?

The last two times I have lost weight I had major life changes (change of country then change of school & therefore state) and the changes disrupted everything including my weight loss. Although I think this time I can keep going and then hopefully even maintain, I have kept a few of my clothes. I donate the stuff I never…

Ice cream!

So one thing I do is save up as many calories as possible during the day. During the day I tell myself that I could eat that but that I want an awesome dinner and a dessert afterward ( I have a weight watchers or skinny cow ice cream bar like every day after dinner). That way I feel like I get a treat at the end of day…

I didn't do the couch to 5k so I don't know much about it. I started by walking with short bits of jogging mixed in regularly. Doing this on a track helped so that I could evenly space the walking and jogging. Then as I felt comfortable I stretched out the jogs between the walking. Eventually, I started cutting out the…

Go to a store that can do a gait analysis or can at least informally watch how you walk. They can help you figure out what would be good for your feet.

Do you like swimming? It can be a great workout with no impact!

I actually have a related question. I was taking a One-a-Day (the one for metabolism support) but I was nauseated almost every time I took it despite eating and drinking with it. After throwing up my vitamins enough times, I have switched for a while to the Flinstones children's chewables. It is such a relief to my tummy.…

The Biggest Loser Family Cookbook has a lot of easy dessert ideas that are healthier. I tend to go for the weight watchers ice cream treats, though.

I honestly don't know, but I had to make some changes to the way that I was doing things. First, I think sometimes you get too much credit for the exercise so I only count about three fourths of my workout so that I don't overeat. Also, I was working out for about an hour and a half 6 days a week and I wasn't losing much.…
