21 months ago I was super morbidly obese at 268lbs. I was so desperate to lose weight that I actually considered paying for WW not knowing what I was doing or anything about nutrition at all. Being the ultra cheapskate that I am, I googled "calorie counting" and found myfitnesspal. For nothing but the cost of a food scale…

Thank you so much!

You're welcome, and you can always play around with your calories and figure out what works best for you. If you stick with it you will meet your goals and the time really does fly by. I can't believe I've been losing consistently for almost two years now. Crazy!

Thanks!

I am 5'4 and started at 268lbs 21 months ago and have lost 120lbs so far. I walk 30-45 minutes every single day and I eat 1300-1500 calories per day. I weigh all my food on a scale for accuracy and eat whatever I want that fits into my calorie goals. Nothing that is not sustainable for me. I have a Fitbit zip to estimate…

I am right there with you, not into cooking or preparing food at all. 117lbs lost so far, quick easy meals that are tasty and sustainable for me are key! My go to meal is always the same. I buy the multi grain pocket pitas in the bread aisle (100 calories), stuff with half a slice of cheese (35 cals), and 2 oz of whatever…

Three different people have called me "tiny" recently. "Wow you are so tiny!" This totally baffles me because I am still overweight. Granted compared to how huge I was before I can see how people would think that. It's funny to me though because that is something I've never heard in my entire life. I'll take it though!

I am 5'4 and have lost 114lbs so far over the past 16 months. Still have another 20lbs to go.

Size 22 to a size 6. Started calorie counting and walking 1.5 years ago with a consistent and steady weekly loss ever since. Down 114 lbs so far. Still have a ways to go but I'm getting there.

My quality of life has improved tenfold after losing 111 pounds. I am MUCH happier than I was before. I can do so many things I couldn't do before and I just feel amazing now. Not carrying around all that excess weight everywhere you go 24/7 makes a huge difference. I am much more outgoing and friendly towards other people…

16 months to hit 100lbs lost for me. I ate 1300-1400 calories per day 6 days per week, and 1800-1900 on my one cheat day per week.

Started at 268lbs, now 159lbs. So far I have lost a total of 18" from my waist, and 12" from my hips. Started in size 22 pants, now in size 8. 2x-3x tops, now size M.

Try the Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt. 80cals, 12g protein. Out of the 6-7 brands that I tried its the only one that doesn't taste like greek yogurt. I was determined to like it too and I tried so many and thought they were disgusting. Finally victory! I like the strawberry cheesecake and the vanilla flavors the best. I…

Two things I would replace in a heartbeat if I needed to, my food scale and my fitbit. When you know your Calories in, and your calories out, it really takes all the guesswork out of the process. I've been using both for the past year and a half with consistent steady weight loss. I also credit my food scale to never…

I try not to buy very much clothing.. just the bare necessities because I have gone through sizes so fast. I have 1 pair of jeans, 2 pairs of workout clothes, 2-3 tops that fit me, and that's about it. Everything else in my closet is either too big or too small. I have picked up a few things too small at thrift stores just…

HUGE difference! Keep up the great work

I'm assuming your talking about your butt.. if it looks anything like mine then I know exactly what you mean! There are just as many wings on my butt as there are on my arms... but (butt hehe) I invested in some butt shaper panties and that fixes the problem and my rear looks great in jeans now  All the kettlebell…

Amazing is the answer to that

That is the most important thing, don't let the fear of loose skin hold you back from getting healthy. Words cannot even begin to explain how much better you will feel not carrying around that extra weight all day every day. It really makes a huge difference

Its taken me 16 months so far to lose 107lbs. I have loose skin on my arms, tummy, and thighs. Stretch marks everywhere as well. I was morbidly obese for 20+ years so I don't think I will have very much bouncing back happening and I've just learned to accept that. In the end, clothing covers it all up and I feel amazing so…

I love the Danskin now line from Walmart so much that I bought extras sports bras and capri workout pants for everyday wear around the house. They are just so comfy. The only time I'm not wearing them is when I have to leave the house lol When I was 268lbs though I found workout clothing at Target that fit me good enough.…

I am 5'4 and at 268lbs I just walked. I told myself that I would start jogging once I got under 200lbs but I was still to afraid lol so I procrastinated until I was under 170  Now I jog 30 minutes per day and I actually like it.

I am 5'4 and have lost 106lbs by eating cutting calories and eating the foods I love in moderation. I have not done low carb or any special macros, just the default that mfp gives me. I eat bread, chips, chocolate everyday, and I'll have a candy bar and eat out 1x per week and I'm doing just fine. I weigh my food though,…

You're welcome! Keep in mind they use UK sizing, they say its more accurate. I am in the US but was able to find UK sizing on the US Ebay website. They also list a bunch of stores that carry the harder to find sizes I believe.
