Over the long-term, if you keep your deficit, no, because you ended up having a greater deficit than expected last week (because you didn't eat back calories you were planning to. In the short-term, you might see a plateau (more-likely) or a small gain early next week - especially if you eat more on this weekend. Bottom…

You jumped in the middle of a convo I was having with someone else, seemingly standing with them. So, if you didn't want to get into that particular argument and that wasn't your position, maybe you shouldn't have stepped into (quoted) that particular conversation?

I have found my Fitbit One to be totally worth it. However, if you don't care about monitoring sleep, you could go with the Fitbit Zip which is only $60.

No, but you set yourself up to be in that position. They may be, but generally internet message boards are not conducive to these diagnoses. Further, you keep going back to "if they have irrational"... well, you wouldn't know that unless you interrogate their reasoning, which is what I mean by you've set yourself up as…

My most humiliating experience wasn't public, but I was still mortified. At my heaviest in 2010, I was 287, and I was flying to my parents' for the holidays and I had to go to the bathroom while I was on the plane. I didn't fit the toilet and tried to sort of hover above and ended up peeing on myself and some on the toilet…

Because you can tell anything about my history, how many people I've helped or knowledge based on when I registered for a dieting website. But, I'm glad that the fact that you've been here longer makes you feel good about yourself.

And at what point did you get appointed arbiter of what's appropriately "rational" for other people? At what point did you get appointed harbinger of potential failure? At what point did you get into their head and history so that you know their story (as opposed to working off a bunch of assumptions)? Like I said, if…

But beware, you'll attract my low-quality attention. So, it's a trade-off really.

Maybe there's a nice silky thong protecting the delicate parts. :)

But don't we all have a gap there? Like by design?

She has thigh gap. It's okay.

My weigh loss has yet to be remarked upon by anyone that knows me. Even in a non-specific "hey, you look nice" or "something's different about you, did you change your hair" or "is that a new dress" kind of way. But, just this week I started getting comments/propositions from random guys on the street and getting flirted…

I thought he already was. I mean, there's nothing to see and it's not like he wears pants.

Yeah, it is a question of zealotry. And you really are not understanding the point I'm making due to what I would call your zealotry (perhaps not pro-sugar zealotry, but rather counter-anti-sugar zealotry). You don't know what is sustainable for someone else. You don't know their medical history. And if someone says…

It's also not "good" for you. It's neutral. Food choice is not a moral choice. And if you want to talk about the nutrition it brings. It's not a required nutrient. Yes, it will fulfill carbohydrate needs, but you can get that from other things, and sugar (and really we're talking sucrose/fructose here) doesn't provide…

If you somehow extract the sugar from the rest of the food it's eat with, yes, that's true. The sugar itself is processed exactly the same. However, what happens in your body regarding glucose and insulin levels IS different when you eat a piece of fruit versus when you eat a piece of cake. That said, if you're not…

I used to eat white rice mixed with Grape Nuts cereal and Molly McButter. I can't imagine eating it now, but I used to think it was great.

Clearly I need to find a profile picture that conveys my sarcastic self better.

Tell your doctor you want to stop exercising and gain the weight back so you can smoke and not have high blood pressure and see what he says. If he thinks that's a good idea, then that's what you should do.

I braid mine straight down my back for anything that involves floor work. I find it's the most comfortable and gets in my way the least. When I golf or am doing anything outdoors in the heat, I put it up in a braided bun to get it off my neck, using three extra-large bobbies to secure it so I don't have a plethora of pins.

I keep having this same problem. These are the conversations I've been having with myself: "Oh no... if I get rid of these, I have no pants! And all I'll have to wear to work is dresses and skirts!" Never mind that you can't wear those pants because they are dangerously close to falling off and don't even have belt loops.…

It really comes down to personal preference. There are two slight differences in what they do. The One will count stairs climbed, Flex will not. However, this doesn't factor into calories burned, so it's just whether or not you like having that metric. The Flex will allow you to set a goal, has a set of 4 lights that…

You could also try mashed avocado on your toast. That's one of my favorites.
