  • I encourage juicing, it provides calories, but most importantly nutrients to your body!
  • I highly recommend looking to juicing because it provides nutrients to your body without actually eating. I would combine doing juicing and smoothies if your appetite is not up for eating solid foods.
  • Wow good for you, those changes are making a huge difference in your health. I also was over weight my whole life and I been down the road of ups and downs, but finally I have embarked in a journey of a lifestyle that has changed my life. • I would like to add to the already good advise, is that because you did bad for a couple of days, it doesn't mean its over, keep going, jump back on the wagon, it happens to everyone, we are human! I would say look into natural things that help with balancing hormones, like Maca, flaxseed, anything with Omega 3's. Have you…

  • My advise is look into Dr.McDougall, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr T. Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn. They recommend a whole food plant based nutrition. How could a plant-base nutrition not make sense or help cure disease. The body is very intelligent that with the proper foods it can help it self. Look at the different documentaries…

  • Let me first say that even though its my first juice fast, juicing is not new to me, I been juicing for 2 years and I have seen the results it can produce with a plant-based lifestyle. A lot people like to criticize lifestyles in which they have not researched or even tried it for themselves. If you have never juiced or…
  • Hi... I'm actually on my 5th day of my 10 day juice fast. I'm doing it for health reason, to give my colon a rest and help my other organs a chance to repair themselves. Its my first juice fast and its been ok so far, but today I woke up really hungry and with lots of mucous. Today has been very different from the other…
  • Hi Cassie, My recommendation is and this is based on experience, I'm not a doctor nor nutritionist, try to give up dairy and animal products for 1 month. From what I know is that dairy causes too much mucous in the body and other issues as well. Also anything that comes from animal produces too much acidity in the body and…

  • Hey.. Here's I see it, fruits and vegetables are carbs, but good carbs and the way I see it, eating fruits and vegetables never got people fat. I get it sometimes we indulge in the "bad" carbs, but if your carbs are coming from fruits and vegetables, you shouldn't worry about the carbs/calories. I'm not someone to worry…
  • Hi.. I hear you...I went a whole month without the motivation to do any works, but coming back to MFP, it has help encourage myself to get back at it. I mean once you get started, you will feel back in the groove. Start slow and once you feel you can go longer do it. The body is amazing and of course you can't forget the…
  • I gave up dairy about 2 years ago. I use to suffer from sinus issues every morning, it was like clock work and since giving up, no more sinus issues. Giving up dairy is the best thing someone can do. It produces too much mucus in the lungs and the respiratory system. Also I have read that it cause that the blood thickens…

  • Hi... I been a raw/vegan for almost 2 years and I honestly can say that I would not go back to being a meat eater, I'm not saying that if I'm invited to a family gathering I won't eat it, I mean eating it 1 or 2 a year is not going affect your body as if you ate meat every day. But I can honestly believe that a raw/vegan…
