Ahhhhhhh Kindle is amazing! I personally don't like the one that looks like a tablet as it strains your eyes, I prefer mine which is just like reading a book. The touch screen but with the e-ink technology. The battery lasts for ever and a day too. For my birthday however I was given an Ipad Air and just so happened to…

I did not touch cooked vegetables of any kind my whole life until I came to the Uk for the first time. Suddenly i felt more adventurous and ready to try new things, I later learned that ones taste buds change and I actually started to like some. Not just salad stuff all the time. I still hate tomatoes and egg plant but…

This I feel you sister. If I could offer one small piece of advice it would be to take everything one day and one step at a time. Oh and also live consciously. Make concious smart decisions before you do or eat anything. Think about what goes in your mouth and into your body. I stopped smoking 63 days ago, phew, and every…

Hay Im Tash. I spent two years working in a pub. Long, weird hours meant i literally had one (normally very unhealthy) meal a day and picked on whatever else was available, usually crap. I now have a new job, normal hours and find it hard to actually eat in the morning afternoon and night. Feel your pain cx

I have the same problem. I think its the salt in it that I crave. Try seeds and nuts when the craving hits. This has worked for me but I do give in every now and then. Guacamole is my kryptonite. LOL

Wow thank you! So glad it's not alllll bad news. Congrats and thank you x

yup, the "everyday" part is what panicked me too. I was a few weeks shy of my 26th birthday when I was diagnosed and when you're told you need to be on a daily medication, it's a real wakeup call that life isn't permanent and you aren't invincible. So trust me I understand that. I take mine at night, right before I go to…

So no giant acne issues, or migranes or extreme weight gain? Seen so many 'horror' stories today.
-
Thanks... I've been reading a lot of sites and people have been complaining of extreme weight gain, acne, head aches and so on. I'm so paranoid. I know it says no major side effects. Just a bit concerned. Nice to know its not so bad.

My friend used to get this all the time. I cant tell you what caused it but after one too many doctors appoints and too many meds she decided to detox. All raw fruit and veg for a week. plus seeds and nuts. Stopped using tampons and started using pads and let her body do its thing. Slowly after about three months things…
