  • I just finished making up this list for a friend but I'll re-post here for you. Some may be outside of your mentioned food groups and the amount of protein in the serving may be off between brands: Some suggestions (my fave foods): Sardines; canned, boneless, skinless 24g Smoked Oysters; canned 14g Salmon 20g Flounder 21g…
  • I know it's pathetic but this is the one thing I have the hardest time with. You'd think drinking water should be easy but I forget to drink it or just feel so full from constant snacking that I'm disinterested in drinking any.

  • Oh man, the coolers on ebags.com are great. Thanks all for the ideas. I live in Florida where it can get rather warm and humid. I travel between classes, work and home. I just wasn't sure as to how long pre-cooked food would keep outside of a fridge. The suggestions are great though.
  • That's OK, thanks so much for the suggestions. Not really sure if they have a microwave in the cafeteria but I'll ask.

  • My concern with food is the amount of pesticides in it, I don't have irrational preconceived notions that a food item can be grown on a large scale with some pesticides. I've read various recent studies on what benefits organic food offers. The general consensus is that while organic food of course still has pesticides, it…
  • What works for me is a banana 15-20 minutes before and whey protein powder+almond milk+spinach or kale+fruit after.
  • Everybody is different, from my understanding. For me, my stomach is the first thing to shrink. It's also the last thing to grow on my body and it's my body telling me I need to desperately stop gaining weight. The first thing to accumulate fat are my butt and thighs, also the last parts of my body to lose fat. It took…
  • Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me) - Train It was playing in the surf shop I recently visited.
  • From all of the research I've done, it seems cassien + whey combo is best which you can get at most health food spots. I forgot the brand of the product I wish to get from my local co-op, intend on replacing Designer Whey with it because it has less "filler" ingredients. Try to get most of my protein requirement from the…
  • Alexia bagged sweet potato products are soooooooo good!
  • delicious fruit smoothie!
  • "it’s better to eat after a workout because exercise is one of the few ways to improve your nutrient partitioning. huh? nutrient partitioning is, in a way, “choosing” where your food goes. exercise betters the chance that instead of being stored as fat, your calories are used as fuel and stored in muscle tissue. why should…
  • I use Designer Whey French Vanilla. Scoop of that, vanilla yogurt, cranberry juice, orange juice, raspberries, blueberries and a banana. It's soooooo good! Also sometimes do Low Fat Blueberry Kefir (Lifeway), blueberries, strawberries, splash of skim milk (to thin it out) and the scoop of Designer Whey. :)

  • Kickboxing class at the gym; the instructor is super silly and very funny. She's genuinely kind and upbeat; it's incredibly contagious. We have a blast during her class and she makes sure that we're keeping up by slowing down if the moves appear to be stressing us out. I burn 700 calories during that hour class.
  • Jennifer Aniston; this was easy. She doesn't appear to seesaw with weight gain/loss, exercises, makes healthy meal choices and well - we can all see how gorgeous her body is.
  • I can't eat over 1500 calories and lose weight; and I do exercise as well as am on my feet all day for work. I make good food choices for the most part, watching my sugar and sodium intake and making sure I get enough protein. Maybe if I was an athlete I could eat more and still losing weight or gain muscle weight?
