So far I haven't noticed too much damage from the deficit. When I was in college eating at maintenance, I was doing the main lift and then 4 accessory lifts; 4 times a week. Since I've started cutting I'm doing the main lift and then 2 accessory lifts, and I've cut down the sets for both. It seems to have saved me from…

Yeah, it's not fun. Especially when your weights start lowering. I suppose you just got to tell yourself that once the cut's over, it's over; you just got to deal with it until then.

I like Now Sports' dutch chocolate whey. It's not filled with sucralose or whatever else other companies use for flavor or sugar substitutes. I haven't bought a tub in a while, but I like how they use just a bit of Stevia, which is a natural healthy sweetener. The dutch chocolate tastes great with oatmeal or in a shake.

I want to deadlift 450, OHP 250, bench 320, and squat 400 but I'm still fixing up my squat form so that one's on hold for a while.

Doug Young. In his prime he was the same height and weight as me, but wasn't visibly fat. Just massive.
