I never ate breakfast during the week, kept the chocolates in a candy jar on my desk, had a Pepsi every day, ate a good lunch then a "supersized" dinner and at bedtime ate icecream straight from the carton. Now I "practice" portion control because I haven't perfected it yet. I found through logging I was getting about 1000…

If you have a hankering for a smoothie the lol ff h&h gives you some real bang for the calories. I mix with almond milk and everybody here likes the texture and flavor

This is what I'm doing too. I was pushing 1000 cal daily on coffee mate. I've cut back on the coffee and also drink some black now but my first cup is with the lol ff h&h and it's sooo good. I tried the almond milk & keep it on hand for cereals but the h&h is what I want with coffee.

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your story and being an inspiration for us.

Wal Mart or Homeland - because they're the only stores in town. Beef comes from the slaughter house once a year. Tried our farmers market and it's a joke.
-
Disgusting toppings??? I thought that was the good stuff - ya know, fruit. LOL

Better than a quart - Blue Bunny "Bunny Tracks". There is NO ice cream, frozen yogurt, etc. allowed onsite any more. It is eaten in public - with witnesses - only. And all the grandkids - and the Hubs - know the rules.

Lmfao. Clean eating confuses me - man, I wash everything -- don't you? that's how I process it! I work for a living, I can't grow crops year round - it gets too cold and not enough sun and I don't have the time or energy - but i do wash the rat pee off the tops of the cans so by the standards to which I was raised, that's…

I didn't even know these options were available. Well, there goes THAT excuse! Thanks all for the education, guess I'll start exercising soon ;)
-
Now THAT's a good reason!

^ ^^.hahaha aha That's what i look like too! If they synchronize it for the Olympics call me for the team!

Yup, that 'bout sums it up -- along with 3 ruptured disc, a pinched nerve and DD's that don't behave.

We should join up - I own an accordion. LOL
-
I have an accordion. Anybody else have one?
-
That is COOL!
-
That's funny!

^^^. Yep, that's what I do too. I was amazed that I easily have a 3# fluctuation between bedtime and waking up. Where does it go? Also, I weigh in my nightie to save that pound.

My hubby - The Amazing Mr. T - is my biggest fan. He was when I weighed 120 and he was when I weighed 240. We have been through so many tragedies and turmoil's and the whole foundation of our marriage is just that we "go down the road together". He has taken care of me in sickness and in health like nobody but my momma…

Ha! My weight fluctuates 3 to 4 pounds between evening and morning and I'm not hormonal and post partum! Eat healthy, walk that baby, get some fresh air and take deep breaths. then say a prayer for those of us working 8 to 12 hr days - taking on call rotations - and no summers off.
-
Of course they do - and I wanted to correct my earlier statement. I am no longer clinically morbidly obese. Now I am merely obese. If I was a foot taller I'd be still be overweight. It's all relative.

That is well said and I ditto the hugs to you. I think i understand what you're saying. I too shake my head and walk away when people "binge" on 200 or 300 calories that aren't preplanned in a strict regimented daily diary plan - same as I shake my head and RUN the other direction when I see the discussions about thigh…

I read, and will try to find the documentation, that the 8 glasses/day helped kick the liver function into gear which was to process and eliminate fat in your system.

For sure, eat more calories, watch your sodium and get more water but I think you need to put your extra calories into substantial snacks. Can you consider eating six times a day? Three moderate meals with a morning snack, afternoon and bedtime snacks. If your calories start creeping up then incorporate more veggies into…

I don't go to sleep well if I'm hungry. I save a special 100 calorie splurge for my bedtime snack and it's working for me.
-
Nah, it was skinny. Somebody trying to be pc switched it up. We also quoted 'you can't be too rich or too thin' before it became important to recognize eating disorders. I sound insentive because I'm from the clean plate generation --- as though American children licking their plates clean somehow saved the starving…

^^^. As a matter of fact I do better during the week than the weekend because I'm better prepared and more structured.
-
I agree here - be prepared. I pack a lunch daily and eat two meals and two snacks away from home five days a week. Boiled eggs, sugar free instant oatmeal, thin bagel sandwiches, salad with sugar free dressing, fruit, veggie snacks with a yogurt dip, pretzels, sugar free jello cups, 100 calorie snack packs - and microwave…

I would move for love. I would move for a better paying job. I would move for better weather. I would move for a nicer house or better neighborhood. I would NOT stay someplace just because that's where I was. You are at EXACTLY the right age to spread your wings and see what the world has to offer. Certainly don't wait…

You can eat what you want. And I'll bet you really want a good chocolate chip cookie. But come on - a Costco cookie? It's not worth it - save the splurge for something that's worth it. There's gotta be a better cookie than that around.
-
A serving is 11 chips. I truly doubt the day will come when I find that to be an acceptable serving size. I just hope the day comes when I quit enjoying food. Like I've said before I could quit smoking (16 months ago) but I can't quit eating...
