  • Best to eat fresh veggies not packaged or canned. I try to eat a fresh salad every day. I stay pretty much in my doctor's recommended sodium for me. I have controlled high blood pressure. Hoping that when I lost 45 lbs I can get off the meds.
  • My Dr gave me a diet that he has lost 50 lbs on. Avoid all white flour, all bread, all pasta, all rice....Eat at least 50 grams of protein and 3000 mg of omega 3 (have a whey protein shake every day for breakfast. I eat meat, fish, chicken, etc., with fresh veggies. I eat sugar free jello for a snack. I am only on day 6…
  • I am 6 days into my diet of no (little) carbs and no drinks. So far, so good...I was so hungry today at Walmart that I had to buy an apple and eat it while I was waiting for my husband's prescription! So far, not wanting a drink!
  • I am staying away from bread, flour, pasta, rice and other high carbs. Just started so don't know how it works, but my Dr. lost 50 lbs in 5 months using this diet. At least 50 grams of protein a day and 3000 g of omega 3, 8 glasses of water and a multivitamin. I'll let you know how it works for me.
