Boxing, it is great cardio and if you can walk then you can shuffle around a bag.

The best way to figure it out is to keep a symptom journal along with tracking your foods. Not only will it make you listen to you body but it will point out trends that might tell you what to cut back on.

I think that I look pretty good naked, not perfect and not up to media beauty standards but still damn good. It has taken me years to like myself this much and I still have down days.

I don't personally like them, they don't taste that great. I prefer to cook for myself though. They are good for keeping a stack of for lazy days. It is worth comparing labels you might find other brands that are similar nutritionally.

Stop trying to find the quick fixes, there are not such things and you are teaching yourself awful habits. It took you time to gain the weight, it is going to take time to lose the weight.

I like to find foods that are easy to pack when I have a busy day. Salads are great, just chuck a bunch of lettuces and some vegetables (maybe some left over meat) in a bowl and go. Sandwiches and leftover are good too. The important thing is paying attention and tracking what you are eating. It takes a little bit of…

Weigh your foods (even if that means weighing them at home and not eating extra at work) and expect that your weight loss is going to slow as you get closer to your goal weight.

2lbs per week is fantastic! Be patient it takes time to lose weight.

I would say that you should ignore your walk to work calorie wise, if you do them same thing everyday your body will get more efficient at it.

Maybe try to cut out one thing at a time to see if you can find a pattern with symptoms. You may not have to eliminate everything. Keep a food log if you aren't tracking here and note how you feel. Looking at the Standford diet below it doesn't look too bad.…

You will not be able to stick to 12000 if you are also active, that is the minimum recommendation for a sedentary lifestyle. You have to eat more food to help fuel your body.

You have coffee, but without added sugar. Sounds trite but based on the subject what you are drinking now is not coffee, it is a sugary drink with coffee added to it.

Eat what vegetables you do like, sounds like you eat a good variety. The key to weight loss is eating less calories than you burn. If you like lettuces then salads are always a good option when eating out, and there is nothing wrong with asking for a vegetable side dish that you will eat.

It is worth mentioning that if you do think that you might have celiac's disease (which is serious and a big deal) then you need to get tested for it. Unfortunately, you need to be eating gluten containing grains regularly for the test to be accurate (if they do the antibody test). I gave up gluten almost 4 years ago…

I have to get up and walk around a little every hour or so at work. Then I head to the gym right after work. On the weekends I have no excuse.

I wouldn't sign up for a year, that is a long time to commit to someone you may or may not like. However, if you want to start strength training, especially with free weights, a session of two isn't an awful idea. A person to help you with form will be beneficial.

Great let's do that. Find me peer reviewed, placebo controlled studies with statistically relevant sample sizes that show me that a supplement has a better than placebo effect and we can talk. A blog or a study done without those things listed above doesn't count. Anecdata is not data that supports a claim.

Eating fat does not make you fat unless you eat more calories than you burn in a day. Fat is also an essential part of your diet, you brain and nervous system need fat to function.

I have been on hormonal birth control for 17 years and have not had any weight gain related to the pill (but I have gained weight due to not watching what I eat). If you have side effects of any type then talk to your doctor about alternative, there is a IUD with hormones.

Keeping the skin moisturized and exfoliated will go a long way to help. I moisturize at night and in the morning I use a lotion that has salicylic acid in it.

Wow, your other half said kind of a jerk thing. Thin and slim are words that mean different things to different people. I personally consider parts of me thin and parts of me slim. However, I don't ask other people to categorize me, that way leads to hurt feelings. If you are happy then it doesn't matter.

You can easily boost your calories by making different food choices without eating much more in terms of bulk. You still eat a lot of low fat and diet type foods. Try some full fat dairy or some real peanut or almond butter. You need to fuel your activity goals. If you don't eat more you are going to start hurting your…

Are you able to do the things that you want activity wise? Do your clothes fit you? Do you like the way that your body looks? It doesn't really matter what the scale says if the above answers are yes.

I drink green tea daily, it has not helped me lose weight. It is delicious and an enjoyable drink though.

Personally I would give up all of the orange juice to be able to chew more of my calories. That is me though, at the end of the day it is all about if you are eating less calories than you are burning and if it works for you. Start trying to log your food and weigh it if possible, that is the only way you will know if it…

Depends on the model. I have a Fitbit One that you clip to your core so it mostly measures step and stairs. The writs models would pick up punching but probably not biking, although some of them have heart rate monitors built into them that you might find useful. The app for fitbit would allow you to add in other…

You are on you way. One step at a time and don't be too hard on yourself if you wander off the track once in a while.

Not your circus, not your monkeys.

Mrs. Dash is much more of a herb and spice blend than a salt replacement. I like it though, the Italian Herb Blend is my go to when I am lazy.
