I try to avoid fast food joints as much as possible now because I used to binge like CRAZY on the stuff. I am still embarrassed to admit what my "go to" meals there used to be... With that being said, if I'm in a bind I'll swing by Wendy's and get an Ultimate Chicken Grill (just over 300 calories) or Grilled Chicken Go…

You look so much happier and younger. Not to mention the amazing weight loss. Thank you and congratulations. 199 will happen soon!!

I weigh every morning, but know going in that the number might fluctuate. I would love to just be able to weigh in once a week, but I'm just so eager to see that number go down that I can't help it!

I don't have a set "cheat day." Knowing me it'll just turn into a huge binge day and I'd rather just stay the course as much as I can. I do think it's important to not beat yourself up if you end up going over your calories a little.

This!! My real goal is to be in the "single digits" for pants size. I'm striving for between 130 and 140, but I'll wait to see what looks good on my frame.

Hard boiled eggs make me shudder to even look at.

You look beautiful! Congratulations -- these are such an inspiration.

Thank you so much for sharing such an inspirational story!

This. I recently hit the 25 lb. loss and wasn't feeling all that accomplished. Then I picked up 2 ten pound weights and realized that was ON MY BODY just 3 months ago. It's eye opening.
-
I'm down 24 lbs. with 46 more to lose. Anyone feel free to add me!

I find that I really have to spread out my meals and snacks throughout the day rather than having 2 or 3 big meals. Also, lots and lots of water. I get huge snack cravings, so I try to space things out as much as I can.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and amazing attitude with us. You are an inspiration.

Kale chips and a glass of water can be incredibly filling and satisfying. Vermont Kale Chips are my favorite (www.vermontkalechips.com), but you can always make your own and bring them to work. A rice cake with Laughing Cow cheese and a slice of turkey or roast beef has saved me from diving head-first into a bag of Cheetos…

I work at a restaurant, which means my hours are not only all over the place, but average between 12-hour and 17-hour days, often times 6 days a week. I absolutely love my job -- I'm not complaining one bit -- but it does make a regular work-out regimen a struggle. It also means that I definitely know what it's like to be…

Hi everyone! I'd used MFP about a year ago to help with my weight loss, but definitely "fell off the wagon." So I'm back again! I'm now on a 50 day streak and have gained some great and motivational friends along the way, but I'm definitely looking for more! I'm 27 years old, 5'4" and started my journey at 205 lbs. I'm now…
-
Adding you! I'm 27 and 5'4". Starting at 205, with my goal weight being 135, so it sounds like we have similar goals!

Cheese. All cheese. Anything from Cheez Whiz to Brie. From Kraft Singles to Stilton. I don't care. I'll eat it all.
-
Wendy's Ultimate Chicken Grill is a life saver for me when I'm working late hours and have nothing to cook at home.
-
Adding!! I have about 50-60 more pounds to go myself.
-
Feel free to add me! Mine is open and set at 1550. I usually eat between 1200 and 1500 per day.

I know how you feel. Life happens. Luckily you had some great things in your life happen, like welcoming your new baby! I lost 50 lbs. in 2008, then gained it all back...and then some. When I stepped on the scale and saw 205 lbs. (I'm 5'4") I wanted to curl up in a ball and hide for the rest of my life. Instead I decided I…

First of all, congratulations on your huge accomplishment!! Over 50 lbs -- that's incredible. Could it be possible that you're building muscle and that's why you're not losing?

If you are active and eating at/under your calorie goal, the weight WILL come off. I have the same issue with feeling discouraged and binge eating, but I'm happy to say that I've been staying the course for over a month. The food only lasts as long as you're eating it -- the bad feelings that follow the binge eating stay…

There are a lot here, but I've been finding these meal hacks completely necessary! - Greek yogurt. Love the Trader Joe's varieties, especially the vanilla bean and raspberry. - Almond Milk. - Laughing Cow cheese for rice cakes and sandwiches. I like the bleu cheese because it has the most flavor. - Any variety of sandwich…

I totally know how you feel. On some level it is really about the food we put into our bodies, but I've found exercise to be my new best friend -- because when you work out, you feel better. It's science. It's chemicals in your brain. When I feel better, I tend to turn to food for comfort less and less. Every day that I…

Love it!

It's such a great thing to have a loving and supportive partner. My boyfriend of 5 years has never made a comment about my weight, though I've gained 50 pounds since we've been together. He's happy for me that I'm getting healthy, but says he loves me just the way I am. I want to be the best version of me for myself but…

Not eating as much cheese. Wonderful, delicious cheese.

I work as a restaurant manager, so the first thing I did was start bringing my own food to work rather than eating restaurant food every day. Now when I do have to eat food from the restaurant I limit it to kale and beet salads or simple fish dishes. Oh, and water. Tons of water!
