Am I the only person that thinks Quest bars taste like poison?

I would chew my arm off if I went that long between lunch and dinner! I always have a Greek yogurt, protein/fiber bar, veggie cup or all of the above close by so that I don't have to worry between meals.

20 pounds in 1 month is absolutely crazy. Keep in mind you'll be messing with your body and nutrition just to look good for one day. Do the best you can with healthy eating. Even if you only lose 5 pounds your body will thank you.

I was a big gin & tonic fan, but couldn't justify all of the calories in the tonic water. I found that Hendricks or Brockmans gin and soda water is a good alternative. They both have less of a juniper bite so you don't need the quinine in the tonic to balance it out. A glass of wine is only about 150 calories, so I don't…

I just logged what would have been a typical day for me 7 months ago. I was easily eating 4,000 to 5,000 a day, with sodium through the roof. I can't believe it. Thank goodness I made the change when I did.

When I changed my eating habits for the better, I got heartburn like crazy. I made a huge change to what was going into my body, so I guess it makes sense. It ended up getting better by the end of month 1 or 2, though. TUMS have always been good friends of mine.

People started noticing when I got to 25 pounds lost.

Skirts have become my new best friend. You'll get more time before you have to "retire" them. Thrifting is also a great way to grab some cute finds without breaking the bank.

Non-diet soda or soft drinks. I don't drink many diet soft drinks, either. I stick to water, coffee and tea for the most part. Other than that I don't really have a "no" list.

I lost 40 pounds in 2008, only to gain back 60 over the past 6 years. Now back on the horse and really holding myself accountable thanks to MFP. 34 pounds down so far, almost halfway to my goal. Anyone feel free to add me! I love having the support on here.

Started on Saturday. I was so sore that I had to use yesterday as a rest day or I was nervous I was going to injure myself. I think I'm going to do this every other day and make sure to listen to my body. What a great workout, though. I didn't even know I had those muscles in my legs!!

People didn't start noticing with me until I'd dropped around 25 lbs. Since then every day I've been getting compliments. It's such great motivation -- I don't get offended at all. I just say, "Thank you! That's great to hear -- I've been working very hard at it!"
