Is that the only change you've made? Are you eating less calories now that you cut out sugar and grains, or are you still eating the same amount with just different foods? Just curious! I would love for my weight gain to slow down! Problem is I am absolutely STARVING every two hours it seems like.

https://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/abs-exercises I have also recently heard of a prenatal Pilates program. Something to look in to!

Try not to worry! (easier said than done, I know) but it will come off after the baby comes!

I ran through my second pregnancy. Have you tried a belly support band? It should help. But it just comes with the territory that you will slow down as you get bigger!

I just had mine today and it is so much fun. Baby girl was squirming all around and putting on quite the show. Even more importantly, everything looks completely normal and perfect, so I will rest easy tonight!

I have had friends who don't show at all at 20 weeks! Google 20 week belly pics and you can see there is such a wide range of what is "normal."

Hi there! Thanks for starting this page. I am due October 22, so just passed the halfway mark! (halfway, that's it?!?). I found out I was having a girl at 10 weeks through a blood test. I am 39 and high risk (due to a previous LEEP procedure) so I get all sorts of extra testing. This will be my third girl. I am thrilled. I…

Girl, your body is going to do what it is going to do. All you can do is eat healthy and stay active. The rest is really out of your control!

I agree that mountain climbers will get difficult as you progress in your pregnancy. I think you're body will tell you what you can and can't do. But if it is still comfortable I don't see why you couldn't do them. I continued to do my normal core exercises all the way through the first trimester. I scale back once I start…
-
Yes you can do planks. I checked with my doctor and she said it is a recommended exercise for pregnancy. She said not to do any core exercises that contract the abdomen, like crunches or boat pose (in yoga). So besides plank I don't know what else you can do for the core during pregnancy! I've been doing both planks and…

Hi ladies! Can I join the fun ? I am sixteen weeks along with my third girl. My first two girls are 7 and 10. Its been so long since my last pregnancy it feels like going through it for the first time again! I am also 39, so am pretty worried about excessive weight gain because its just downright hard to lose weight at…

Me too! I am 6-weeks pregnant, due in October.

Hi ladies! I'm new here. I just recently found out I am pregnant. I am five weeks today. This is my third pregnancy. My children are seven and ten years old. I am thirty-nine! I know it will be very difficult for me to lose extra pounds at this age so I am hoping to stay on track and keep the weight gain to 25 pounds.…

One pound a week sounds like a perfect goal! Count me in!
