What happens if I don't/didn't lose a lot of weight the first week or 2? Does it mean I did not use all of my glycogen stores? And does it that I am still not in ketosis 5 weeks later, despite keeping my carbs below 30 (usually closer to 20)? Yikes!

Today went great! I did my first intentional IF from 8:30 last night to 12:30 this afternoon. And I wasn't hungry.....1st time ever! In the past If I skipped breakfast, I was hungry all day. Whew what an exhausting past 2 days it has been! Worked my butt off! Still have another one to go! Logged-yes Carbs-over (42) still not bad Calories-over my budget, but I worked so darn hard today....I actually earned over 2400 calories, so still under overall Exercise /activity-tons! For 6/28 logged-yes carbs - under 25 calories-under-- exercise/activity- A LOT....hubby and I cleaned out our 40 ft cargo container and re-arranged it water-probably 10 glasses vitamins-nope sodium-pickles, olives and pickles! sleep-to bed at 11 PM So far, I"m doing pretty good for my first month of the WOE:)

I was going to get the keto strips and test, but our local store was out of them. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on them, because when I got home that night I read on this forum that they are totally unnecessary.

Things I hate about LCHF: Having to work so hard to get enough salt Trying to find a way to eat at social gatherings without people saying something or trying to tell me how wrong this WOE is..... Not being able to have ice cream or fruit, especially when it's 112 degrees outside! No alcohol, especially Wine and no carrot…

So today I went to a party for my grandson's 3rd birthday. I had a ball. Brought food I could eat, knowing it would be barbecue and potluck. I logged everything I ate and ate on Plan! I focused on the company and I didn't feel tempted at all to eat any cake, chips, cookies, egg rolls...I just had 1tiny taste (finger taste)…

That's how I am with Oreos...they are not allowed in this house...it's the only store bought cookie I do this to! Now homemade chocolate chip with pecans.....not allowed either...sigh....
