Ah! I was just going to post something about dealing with weight issues in addition to anxiety and depression! Both have been a constant with varying levels of severity for me for 15 years. I've been struggling with a more severe bout lately and was just prescribed a new med thus morning. It can be so difficult to get…

I just drank a bottle of wine. :-\

I guess that's kind of the point of all the wine...

I haven't decided what to read next, but in the past couple weeks I read "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Won't Stop Talking". "The Poisonwood Bible" and "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet". they were all good books, but the first two were truly great.

lol - you are the best! Talk about tantric!

well....if that's the case I would bet not many people would post unless they're pretty confident somebody's gonna be willing to be flirty with 'em!! ;)

Congrats on your progress so far! We have similar goals - i'm not in a wedding but am hoping i'll be planning one of my own in the next couple years and know it will take some time to get where I want to be. I would love to have more actual friends who will interact with me on mfp so anyone who fits thst description should…

Hey Sara - I just turned 32 and am in a remarkably similar boat as you. I definitely need more friends who will actually interact and support and make a connection on here. I would love it if you and anyone else looking to gain some actual friends on here would add me!

I was chunky as a teen which turned into obese through college. After college I lost a $h!t-ton of weight and my personality turned on it's head. The boisterous, outgoing, flirty, rambunctious person I always had been was just trapped inside because I was so embarassed and horrified by how I looked. I've now done a…

I've found that salt is the nutritional measure I struggle with most. I have lots of calorie/fat/fiber friendly recipes that I made, but often they include canned tomatoes of some kind and those suckers are PACKED with salt! Ech. Think I'm going to have to learn how to can this year.

Green Day's American Idiot Tour... Every Avett Brothers show!

I'm reading the Divergent trilogy since there's been so much talk about it. It's ok, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone. I've had Game of Thrones sitting on my shelf for a year now - hesitant to dive into that world!

"Stay-cation" with friends - games, wine, baking, oh my. What's your favorite joke?

Hah!

panties is a terrible word. I cringe even typing it. One I haven't seen posted yet: Underoos. :-D

To clarify: yes I am measuring and tracking intake. Despite my frustration this isn't my first weight-loss rodeo.

Larry! Larry! Lawrence! My best friend got me hooked - love these guys!

The Stand - Stephen King. Because after this book I knew there was no turning back from my utter love of King and his ability to mess up your whole psychology. East of Eden - Steinbeck. Who we are is about the decisions we make along the way. The Dive From Clausen's Pier - Ann Packer. It wasn't even that great of a book…

Ooh me too me too! I have the app and usually am pretty good about logging as I finish books and what I thought of them! Love to see what other people are reading and whether something is worth my time or not!

I have three standard go-tos: 1. low-carb tortilla + peanut butter + banana = banana roll-up! Quick, easy, and you can eat it on the go! 2. oatmeal with peanut butter and truvia for a bit of sweetness. Tastes like a monster cookie! 3. apple with almond or peanut butter. Yes, yes I am obsessed with peanut butter. :)

Hey everybody - round two on the significant weightless project plan for me. Done it before, I can do it again. But hopefully you can help a girl out! Shoot me a friend request, I need to see everybody else posting about staying in their calorie goals and burning calories!

Woohoo, a not married no kids club! Where do I sign up? I'll be 32 at the end of the month, no interest in having kids, and mild interest in getting married. Love my job, house, boyfriend and dog though! Looking for more friends so please feel free to add me!

Dittos, folks! Reasons you might want to be my friend: * I'm obsessed with music, books, and games. * I love geeks. I am a surface level geek myself - I say surface level only because I have not yet gotten into Twilight Zone or the Doctor. * I'm from MN wutWut! * My dog is the best. I will allow that your dog may also be…

Full-on Diet Coke addict here - it's free at work, and I won't even disclose how much I was drinking per day. I've been a big diet soda drinker for years and have read lots of articles on impact. Google around and you'll find all kinds of information and alleged issues aspartame causes. I for one do happen to believe the…
