Thank you everyone! I will definitely measure because that's something I haven't done in a while. My sister dropped serious weight when she started training for a half marathon and is just super tiny now. So with me still needing to lose more weight, my mom was like, "Maybe you should take up running too!" And it just…

Yes, most definitely! Anytime I see a loss, no matter how small, when it's the TOM, I automatically know I must've had a good loss for it to show through all of my bloat.

I did WW for many years on and off. I enjoyed it but once I found MFP it was a done deal and I never looked back. I remember being so scared to make the switch as though MFP wouldn't be as good but it's actually better. I even spent a month or so double tracking to compare my calorie counting to WW and on most days I would…

I tend to lose the two weeks prior to my TOM. The week during and the week after, I'll either see a gain or a stall. I just either don't weigh myself or remind myself not to care about what I see on the scale. I've seen a gain as large as 5 lbs-6 lbs the week of my TOM.

Such great and useful information! You hit everything right on the head.

Wow! Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions! Everyone was such a big help :)

Thank you so much for your help!

Thank you everyone!

Thank you both! Yes, my goal was moreso for IF to help with condensing my 1410 calories into a window so I stay more satisfied. I always felt slightly hungry while eating 5-6 meals a day and I ready that it really helped with that. Yesterday was awesome, I wasn't hungry at all. My stomach started growling about an hour…

Thank you! After reading this thread last night I looked up some videos online and I'm starting today! I definitely think about food a lot and I seem almost instantly hungry after I eat breakfast...plus I'm a night binge eater. I read a lot from people who said that IF helped with their binge eating and helped control…

I'm really considering doing this 16:8 eating plan. However, I really like my morning coffee with a tablespoon of creamer...is this ok or should the coffee be black?

Thank you everyone for your replies! I've really struggled on this going back and forth...shouldn't be that big of deal but I make everything a big deal, haha! It's so interesting to see everyone's preference and they all make sense to me. Decisions, decisions...

That's amazing momar23! Congratulations on your weight loss, that's really awesome! I hope I can be where you are a year from now! The extra calories that I get from changing back to 1 lb a week would make this process seem effortless...that's why I keep going back and forth. It's like choosing the route that may be…

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you!!

Thank you so much! Yeah, the 1210 a day is tough if I ever try to sneak in some junk...it's always definitely a trade out for the something else. Since everyone seems to be around that number, I may go ahead and stick with the 1210 and see where it gets me! I'm just so neevous of starving, haha! Thanks everyone :)

Okedokie! I will keep mine where it is :) I may experiment for a while with the 1 or 1.5...thank you :)

Hi everyone I'm Sarah! I am currently 192 and have 60 lbs to lose. I have gained weight with both of my pregnancies that I never lost, plus put on an extra 10 lbs. I hope to be at least halfway there by my 30th birthday in June. Nothing fits anymore and I just feel terrible. I realized how bad it had gotten when a friend…

My ultimate lightbulb moment was honestly just yesterday during Thanksgiving! My husband was snapping pictures of me and the kids and I noticed how big I had actually gotten. I've been on MPF for a while now and I knew I was overweight but I've been slacking and not taking it seriously. Also, a family friend of ours is…

I am currently doing Insanity Max 30 and I LOVE it! My soulmate workout is Turbofire though. I love all of beachbody's programs.

Makes sense! Thank you everyone :)

Sorry hit reply too soon! So yes, I did select sedentary because I work from home and spend most of my work day in a chair. I do some moving around while parenting my children after school but I didn't know if it was enough to change my activity level. I just make she I log my exercise calories. And while I'm at the 1230,…

Sorry, everyone, I wasn't getting the alert that more people had replied. Yes, I currently am in month 2 on Insanity Max 30. I use my polar ft4 to get my exercise calories. So I end up eating my 1230 + my exercise calories...I normally burn about 350-450 per workout which I mostly eat back.

Ok thanks everyone!

I know for me I like to have a variety...I don't like to eat the same thing for lunch every single day. So I may have Monday and Wednesday be the same and Tuesday and Thursday be the same, and let Friday be a special treat but still within my calorie goal (like Chipotle or something). For me I tend to rotate shrimp,…

Thank you!

Wow! Thank you for all of your replies. I think I'll stick with the 1 lb loss for right now. 1200 just seems so low! I struggle with my 1420 sometimes...however I burn on average 350-400 calories per workout, so if I ate back half while being at 1200 calories, I'd still be at around 1350-1400 for the day. Why am I making…

Thank you everyone so much! This forum is great :)

Hi! Yes, I'm aware. I just didn't know if my daily goal before exercise calories should be the 1200 (1.5 lb, 2 lb weekly loss) or the 1420 it's giving me for a 1 lb weekly loss. Thanks!

You all are really great! And hilarious!! I feel so empowered now knowing that I don't have to eat super clean/healthy 100% of the time. It seems doable for me now. Thank you so much :)) You have know idea how much you have helped me.
