  • You're very welcome! We are all in this boat together :)
  • Just want to add my two cents. I was on Saxenda which is another doctor prescribed appetite suppressant. It's not by pill, but by injection. I took it for about 3 months and lost 20 pounds. It was awesome. Problem was, when I came off of it I still had to learn how to not eat when I wasn't hungry. I went so long without an…
  • Thank you both so much!
  • Thank you! Fully understood. Question, even though I may workout for 30-45 minutes, 5 days a week, what happens if one day is a lighter 45 minute workout than the previous day? Or is it really not that important to be that detailed? Thanks!
  • Thanks so much for your response :) Yes, that was the reduction after the 20%. Eating the same thing daily is exactly what I like about it. I hate ever having to just eat my 1370 on my rest days! Super nervous but I think I'm going to give it a go. I kind of underestimated everything to be safe. I set myself as sedentary…
  • Just for a quick tip on what helps me to drink more water...I buy the 32 oz reusable water cups from Target that come with straws (brands like Bubba and Aladdin). I notice that drinking water from a straw helps me get through it. I also don't like super cold water. A little cooler than room temp water is what works for me.…
  • Hi! I'm 5'3, 178, and at 1350. Will friend you now!
  • Real sugar in my coffee. I've tried every darn sugar substitute and they just seem to mess up my morning brew. Back in the day when I was on WW, I loved the hell out of some Splenda but now I just can't do it. I have about 45 calories worth (3 tsp) in my morning cup but I always think that I could have used those calories…
  • Right on to that! I didn't even think about it but I agree with you there. I would probably be even hungrier than I am now. Thank you!
  • Hi! I'm set to 1 lb a week loss with my daily activity set at sedentary. My daily calories are 1350. I watched some YouTube videos of what people eat in a day and they seem to eat a lot more food but end up with less calories at the end of the day than me. So I think I'm going to look more on how to get more out of my 1350…
  • Thank you!
  • Thanks! Yes, that's how I was doing before. I was kind of eyeballing if my recipes were 8 servings, 6 servings, etc. It has started to nag me that I wasn't being the most accurate, lol. Like when I would eat my dessert later, I would wonder if I really had 100 calories leftover or not, haha. I can be super extra like that.…
  • Yeah, when I was logging, I was choosing a raw or cooked option. I was just scanning my Tyson Chicken and logging the 4 oz serving
  • Thank you so much!! I figured I was weighing my meat wrong and I was! Thank you
  • I'll cosign to the Leslie Sansone dvds. My mom has a whole collection. I don't know if they are all categorized by the distance but I've seen my mom do a tape that Leslie Sansone said was equal to a 5 mile walk...she incorporates weights also, and its low impact! Target and Amazon have plenty for cheap.
  • Yeah, I was super off, haha! Thank you! I definitely want to be able to sustain my weight loss. Thank you!
  • Oooohh! I see. Hmm, didn't look or think of it that way. I guess I'll just stick with my current pace. Everyone around me seems like they are just dropping weight and I'm just over here losing my 1 lb, sometime .5 a week  With my rate now I'll be at goal before next year's spring break which is really my ultimate…
  • Thank you! Yeah it does happen like that! I think I may just be thinking too hard on this one, lol!
  • It's funny that you say that because my left knee constantly hurts while doing IM30. Like my body aches most of the time, lol! That was part of the reason I had started the running program before. I just get so in my head about the "best" workout. So I'll go from just cardio, to HIIT, to strength, then get stressed out and…
  • Ok, gotcha! If anything, you'll still burn calories and get extra steps in. I do Insanity Max 30 and have for 3 rounds and I'm still out of breath within the first 5-7 minutes, lol! I had started a beginner running program and loved it! I loved the "runners high" I would feel after coming from an outdoor run. It was…
  • Hmm, that's an interesting question. I can say that I can probably run in place for a good while without even breaking a sweat. Leaving my house and jogging two streets down, I would already be panting and feeling the burn. If I jogged in place for that same time, I don't think I would feel the same. So I would say they…
  • Hello! I've asked a similar question before and everyone advised that maximum weightloss came from calorie deficit and not necessarily your workouts. I find this to be true because I can workout for months and not lose a single pound if I'm not in my calorie deficit. Now I use my calorie deficit for weightloss and workout…
  • I can confidently say that my libido is directly correlated to my mental state at the time. My weight loss is one of the most important and top prioritized things I'm doing in my life right now. When I'm off kilter and haven't been working out and eating well my libido plummets. I feel self conscious, tired, and just blah.…
  • Yep, me too! We have a Krispy Kreme up the street and once a month I go and get some doughnuts. I just make them fit into my day. I'm not at goal weight yet but for me, being at goal/in shape will feel and taste like being able to wear certain outfits with confidence, being able to wear a swimsuit without a cover up, just…
  • Set up your profile on here to get your calorie goal. Choose 1 lb of weight loss a week, track honestly, stick to your calorie goal and you'll be good to go!
  • I think it depends on the kind of workout you do. I do HIIT/circuit training and a lot of the time when I look down to check my watch, it's trying to search for my heart rate. When I run/jog it does a good job. I, however, prefer to use my Polar FT4, never loses my heart rate and I've used it for years. When my Polar dies,…
  • Has anyone tried Fanta Zero? Fanta Orange Zero is honestly so good I have to always have my husband taste it when my local restaraunt gives it to me because I refuse to believe it's diet. I'm always nervous they've tricked me and gave me the regular version, haha, it's a conspiracy!! Anywho, yes Coke Zero, cherry Coke…
  • Hi there! I used Saxenda successfully for about 2.5 months. I lost great weight. I started it to help me with my snacking and appetite. I lost my appetite within the first week but that is different for everyone. However, like everyone else has said, once you're off of it, you can regain if you don't watch it. I felt so…
  • Yes! I exercised for YEARS while doing nothing but either maintaining or gaining. Now I know I wasn't consistent with my eating. After taking the advice of others on these forums, I now make sure my eating and tracking are on point first. I have lost 20 lbs easily. I still have 30 to go. I was killing myself working out…
  • It seems to be about 10 pounds will drop a shirt and pants size for me.
