I completely agree with the picture Idea. The first time I lost weight I had a fat picture og me on my frig so everytime I went to get something to eat I had to look at it. It really help me to make better choice. Once I lost all my weight, I keep the fat picture on the frig but put the skinny picture next to it as a…

Not everyone like to use artifical sweetner but, I use splenda instead of sugar. It is barely any calories so I can still have my coffee and not feel like I an ruining my day. It definitely something you have to get use to but it only took me a day or two before I didn't notice the difference.

I do the same thing. Coffee in the morning, and water the rest of the day. Sometime I will sqeeze a diet coke in there but not always.

It is completely normal to have some weight gain during your cycle. Mostly due to bloating and water wait. I am having to maintain during that week. But any gains usually come of the following week.

I wouldn't worry so much about the scale if you are noticing the difference in your shape. I will take a 2 inch drop in my waist over a 2 lb loss any day of the week. I was having the same problem and got really frustrated. Then one day my husband said to me (unperempted), "I don't what the scale is saying, but I really…

I am one of those people that must have popcorn at the movies. So I would just have it.

I am/was a lifetime WW member. Rejoined after gaining weight back and had some success the second time around. However, after joining MFP I have not been back. Who need weekly meeting for support when I have MFP every day. Not to mention the cost. My grocery bill practically doubles when I start buying healthier option so…

I wanted to do Social Work too. Then I realized the money a social worker makes is not worth the expense of college tution. So I ultimately went for marketablity and double majored in Business and CIS. Figured more career options that way. I know too many people that Major in something like Nursing, only to find out the…

While technically it does. I don't count anything that would part of my normal day. I typically, clean-clean on Saturdays but I don't count it. I have always cleaned on saturdays and it obviously didn't help me to not get fat. LOL

Skinny cows are the best.

I am one of those obsessive people the check every morning. But I only log it on Tuesdays.

I love them. The only thing is you can really tell when you miss a beat. But they work really well. My husband noticed the difference and now want me to zumba everyday. LOL

I agree with the snacks. I always tried to do 5 small meals a day instead of 3. I have a snack (under 100 calories) between Breakfast and lunch, and another between lunch and dinner.

I log my exercise but I don't use the extra calories unless I am hungry. I figure, my body will tell me if it needs more.

I log absolutely everything, calories or not. That way I can look back at week I did well and figure out why. For example: I could eat the exact same things and drink diet coke, which is 0 calories, and not do as well as the week I drank water. If I had not journaled it I would have forgotten I even had it.

Water weight will go away. Our bodies actually will retain more water if we don't drink enough. Since you are not a big water drinker your body is probably holding on to it thinking it isn't going to get more any time soon. As it adjust to getting the appropriate amount it will let it go.

I love Zumba but as a Male that probably won't work. My brother in law swears by P90X.

Took pole classes about a year ago with a friend. LOVED them. We will definitely notice a difference in you figure, if not on the scale. It is especially great to tone the arms. Don't worry about not being strong enough the beginner classes are designed to build your strength.

I am not sure what is correct but I generally try to save about 600 calories for my big meal of the day, usually dinner. I switch my big meal up on occasion, when I feel like I am about to plateau. Other then that I try to divide the remaining calories up between my meals.
