Started my WLJ 06/23/2020 at 330lbs. This pic is when I was finally confident enough to take a pic after my first 30lbs loss at 300lbs in 08/2020. Right side is 7 months time lapse, 94lbs lost on 23/01/2021. Still a lot of weight left to lose to get to my GW of 140lbs, but I believe I can do it. This is me officially down…

Spinach, before starting my WLJ I never thought spinach of all things would be a must have when I go grocery shops and I almost panic when I don't have any, like today (lol) I always just associated it with Popeye the Sailor Man. I eat two cups a day and it's such an easy and healthy way to create volume, I put 2 cups on a…

Hello! I know it seems almost insurmountable, but it won't be :) I started at 330lbs in 06/2020 and am currently 247lbs as of today, that's an 83lbs loss in under 6 months. I used CICO and eliminating sugar and most junk food (with occasional treats) and moderate exercise such as walking and short exercise videos such as…

My mini-goal is to lose approx 6lbs by the new year to be 245lbs, this will be the weight I initially joined MFP at in 2014 (yes, 2014, was on and off for years, mostly off. Came back in 06/2020 at 330lbs) so to hit 245lbs and be the weight I was in 2014 would really feel like coming full-circle for me. It will also mean a…

Not eating even a SINGLE piece of candy this Halloween, bought some for the rest of the household and wasn't even tempted. I know people say "everything in moderation" though that's a concept I am still working on and I am still rather new in my weight loss journey so I don't feel comfortable jeopardizing my success at…

I weigh myself every morning first thing, before I've had anything to drink and usually with approx. the same amount of clothes. I like weighing myself daily, it's a habit. I feel that it keeps me accountable and reminds me of my goals. If I gain a lb or two (fluctuate) I understand it can be water weight so I don't often…

I am currently at 272lbs, down from 330lbs. My mini goal is that when I get to 250lbs I am going to go and buy myself some activewear, some cute leggings and matching top for my walks! :) Can't wait. I want something really outrageous like neon-pink.

After losing 50lbs, (was 330lbs, now 280lbs - and counting...) I find that I am better able to walk down my floating staircase. I previously had to hold onto the rails on both sides and go down one step at a time, (as in literally one foot down, next foot down to same step) for fear my knees would give out on me. Now, I…

41, just hit a major milestone (for me) yesterday, 30lbs weight-loss (MFP says 21lbs lost, but that's because when I came back to MFP I hadn't updated my starting weight to account for all the binge eating I'd done at the start of quarantine, lol) and finally got UNDER 300lbs! I believe my food diary is open, critiques…

Another Londoner reporting. Lovely weather we have here today, last night there were THREE crashes at the intersection right by my home. It snows and all of a sudden people forget how to drive in the snow... as if it's something new, each-and-every-year :)

Amazing story and super well-written, have you thought about writing your story or some short stories to be published? You are obviously very clever and well spoken, when the time comes perhaps editorial/writing would be something you could look into? Have you sought grief counselling over not just the loss of your family,…

Came to Canada from the UK as a teenager and now reside in London, Ontario. It's -2 degrees here today, lovely. (Not) lol

Happy Thursday all! :) I finally have a full day off, had a million plans and now I've come down with the sniffles/head cold my daughter had (that she oh-so-gaily managed to snag a day off school for on Monday) so I feel icky. I don't usually get sick, ever, so I am not relishing this. I am feeling really good about myself…

I'd say my stomach - it's huge... if I could just shove it on around to the back of me then I'd have a flat stomach + a big butt = WINNING! lol :) Other than that - the years have drastically reduced my level of "give a care" and things that once mattered just don't any more. I love getting older.

Sure, seems like he has a great sense of humour... Instead of snacks in his diary he has " CRAP YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD" that's hilarious AND true.

Has an intense look so I am guessing she's plotting shenanigans! Naughty!

Hello lovely ladies! I too wished I had a set of stronger prescription glasses when I saw that scale read over 300lbs.... WHHAAAAAT! I started at around 315lbs in early September and was 295lbs as of 10/21/2018, so 20lbs down so far! (My pic is of me when I joined MFP 4 years ago, 70lbs lighter - and didn't USE MFP so I am…

Wow, some great responses from previous posters! I too have tried countless, countless times, however this one is IT, I just know it. For me, it just happens to be the right time in my life, things are starting to fall into place and I am committed. I am only 20lbs down (over the last 2 months) of A LOT to go, but it's…

I think it depends on the type of person you are, if you're mindful of small omissions in logging and it wouldn't add up to much throughout the day (say under 50 cals) then it isn't a big deal. If you are struggling with your weight loss then maybe being a bit more stringent would be prudent. I absolutely get where you are…

Sitting at work, overnights - trying to guzzle as much water as possible to make me stop wanting to eat my microwave dinner too early. lol

I am new in returning to MFP and I LOVE reading these, they are so inspiring - so post away people! :)

After losing 20lbs recently my stretch marks on my stomach have turned from red to silver. They haven't been silver in 3+ years. (I am happier about the stretch marks than the weight loss #, so I absolutely consider this a NSV) I also see cheekbones again, the jawline is a work-in-progress though :) lol

Turning 40 this June, 40 is the new 20, right?! However, my plan is to tell people that I am 50 so they'll think I look even better ;) lol I am back to MFP again because I downloaded it 4 years ago then apparently abandoned it and gained SEVENTY pounds, geez louise. I have lost 20lbs of this so far since logging on and…

Feel free to add me, I love to see what other people are up to and how they are achieving their weight loss goals and what they are struggling with. Me = always over on sodium! (Seriously!)
