I did Warrior Dash last October in Nor Cal, and I'm doing it again in 3 weeks in Arizona. I think the main thing is to have the endurance to get through 3.5 miles running. I have always been told never to take pain killers pre-run. It could mask any serious injury that comes up. However, I just tried to research that and didn't see any hard evidence that it might be a real problem; it just seems to be a recommendation. I second the dehydration headache theory though.

I don't like capris. I don't find them attractive. My wife still wears them though.

I'm a fan of the Kashi lineup as well. I also like the Ezekial 4:9 cereals. Alot like grape nuts, but with a few different grains and some flavorings. I also don't do dairy so everything is with unsweetened soy milk.

On the PC I like simulations and strategy; Civ V, Dirt 2, Grid, IL2 1946. I'm still working my way through older FPS and role-playing; Oblivion, Bioshock, early CoD, etc. God bless Steam. I also have a Wii and play a lot with the kids. I'm getting into Carcassone on the iPad and want to get the table version.
