Tell me more about the heat rate monitor. Does it only monitor your heart rate? Will it tell me how many calories I burned?

I fully agree. Given that before starting this weight loss journey, I hadn't set foot in the gym or done anything that resembled exercise, I am happy with anything. If I go in for a good eliptical cardio workout on the weekend or after work, I can burn about 400 calories in an hour.That is based on what the machine says,…

I was also going to suggest the children's vitamin. When I was pg, I just took 2 of those per day. I got to have the gummy ones. Loved them!

I used one of those microwave steamer bags to steam the cauliflower. Then pour the cauliflower in a bowl and mash with a potato masher. After it's mashed, mix in the rest and eat.

Welcome fellow newbie. :-) I too have a 3 year old (daughter) and work in an office. I just love how the workplace has become the place where everyone brings their leftover birthday cake, halloween candy, valentine's treats, etc. and knows it will get eaten within minutes of announcing its availability.

I have it on a 100 calorie deli flat with some lunch meat. No cheese, no mayo. Or, on a baked potato. Yesterday I mixed it with tuna instead of mayo. yumm! Tonight with dinner, I'm making mashed cauliflower and I was thinking of putting one in that recipe.
