I'm in the pre-diabetic stage, which is one of the reasons I started this process. I don't want to get all the way to Type 2. Feel free to add me.

90lbs isn't as much as it sounds like. I had a goal of 75 and have already lost 23 of it. 90 is only 15 more than I set. I know it sounds like a lot when you say it out loud, but it's really not unachievable with just plain old diet an exercise. I don't know anything about this Roca Lab and I'm no expert on weight loss,…

PCOS here with all the bells and whistles. Not using any meds yet besides the synthroid I've been on 20+ years, though. Sent you a friend request

I agree. A gym membership or trainer won't do any good if you aren't ready to commit. I just joined a gym and booked some sessions with a trainer. I told myself I'd have to commit for 30+ days and lose at least 20lbs to prove to myself I was ready to spend the money. My reward was a treadmill at home, a gym membership, and…

That's awesome. Celebrate the victories.

I was like that on Monday. First day I've really been hungry since starting. I couldn't see much difference in my diary from other days I wasn't hungry, so couldn't chalk it up to food choices. Rode it out with plenty of decent snack choices, but went over a few of my macros. Been ok since. I'd like to know what set me…

It's tougher to be frugal if you're a picky eater..... That said, shop the sales and make what you buy go farther.... B Buy a chicken and roast it yourself instead of buying chicken breasts or,even worse, pre-cooked chicken breast pieces. After you roast it you can cut off the meaty parts you like for salads, sandwiches,…

You had me until mushy peas

If you're using edible dye, I don't see why not. I've been eating them every Easter my entire life.

Saskatchewan...Diary open to friends. On every day, log every day...at least until fishing season starts. Weekends will be iffy then

Good job. You look great.

I'm in a similar situation as you being pre-diabetic among other things with my PCOS, but not as severe. My doc hasn't recommended any severe changes to carb or sugar intake, but I'm trying to keep an eye on my sugars and be under my carbs....not successful every day. With your diary closed, I don't know what you're eating…

I haven't lost all the weight yet, but have PCOS and have had a thyroid condition my whole adult life. Feel free to add me.

42 and started my journey not too long ago. Also have had thyroid issues most of my life. Feel free to add.

I usually lose wallet weight in Vegas, too lol:laugh:

I usually take some raw fruit or veggies and leftovers from supper the night before, but I have access to a microwave. If I have no leftovers, I'll pack the little lunch sized tuna (dill infused is my favorite), or a boiled egg, and some salad. I've never been a big bread eater, so I don't pack sandwiches often.

That's great. You have to do what helps you, be it surgery or whatever....and good for you for staying motivated and putting in the effort to make it work. What you said is true. I know several people who have had various surgeries...bariatric, slimband, etc and haven't done the work so are no further ahead than before.…

My specialist just prescribed me Vaniqa cream. Pharmacy had to order it in, so I won't have it 'til Monday and it takes time to start working, so I can't say if it's effective or not. I'm considering laser to go along with it

I log just about everything, but sometimes I'll skip things like mustard or other zero or almost zero calorie foods in the interest of time. I don't log my tic tacs. I usually leave a few calories unused in my diary to account for the few little things I didn't log.

I don't think I've truly sacrificed anything I want. I have less of some things I used to have and I think about everything I'm putting in my mouth, but If I really want it, I fit it in my goals for the day. My husband, however, is feeling rather hard done by with healthier food I've been cooking, so maybe I should have…

I'm also 5'2". Can't wait to show off an after pic like yours. Great job!

I don't really understand the supposed extra cost of eating healthy really. Yes, chicken breasts cost more than regular ground beef. Extra lean ground beef costs more than regular ground beef, etc, but frozen and canned veggies are fairly inexpensive on sale and just as healthy as fresh. If one stops buying processed,…

I've still got you beat in cup size =) Great starting photos for comparison on your journey, though.

I started singing n my head as soon as I saw the subject line...had to open it to see how you'd finish it off. I'm pretty new, but feel free to add me.

Awesome. You look great!

Good for you. I'm finding I feel so much better and less tired since paying better attention to my food choices and activities as well. Sent you a request.

I'm still a smoker, but figure I'll tackle one lifestyle change at a time. First this and then smoking is next. Feel free to add me. I have quit smoking in the past and at least 20 of the extra lbs I carry around are the result of that.

I'm a snacker and my cravings will run to sweet or salty depending on the day. I load my fridge with fruits I like such as raspberries, strawberries, pineapple, etc and vanilla (all mixed together for a yummy fruit salad). This satisfies my sweet craving days. I also love the little praeventia cookie bags. 140ish cals so…

Feel free to add me. 42 with a diary open to friends. I've been trying to eat well, though I was on vacation recently so you'll see a series of days with restaurant foods.
