You might need to experiment to see what works for you. I usually don't eat before and I'm usually not hungry until 1-1/2 hours after. I know that isn't what is normally good, but my body works that way. I've tried to eat banana/peanut butter/oatmeal 30mins before a long run but always get sick. I stick to one slice of dry…

If it's what you want to do, then do it. If you don't, don't. My birthday is New Years Eve and everyone wants to party! I also always take the day off, so I have plenty of time to workout!

After I lost weight I actually had someone ask me if I was going through a divorce! I wasn't, but it's amazing…

I use Nike+. It announces every mile, tracks with GPS, and it's free. It syncs with it's site to keep stats for the day, week, month, years and includes your times and also how many miles on your running shoes. You can add friends, set up challenges, and link to FB if that's something you want to do.

I get what you are going through with the last 10 lbs! I am a 58 yr old female that let 10 lbs creep back last year. To get rid of them I tracked, I ate less and lost 5 pounds before I plateaued. I ate less, then even less. and my body hung in there, refusing to drop a single pound again, even gaining a fluctuating 2-3 lbs…
