I have to laugh at your "in a world of teeny-tinies" comment -- I feel the same! I am at 250 right now and feel/look great after having lost almost 60 lbs.. I could stand to lose another 20-30 lbs., but that would be a great weight for me to be at. I am only 5'7" -- but just a big, muscular woman. :) You are inspiring!…

Love that shirt: "My other ride is your face!" cracking up over here -- nice weight loss, lady!

I am 44 lbs down in 4 months too...things I do: I set the treadmill for 60 min, but also set a calorie and mileage goal. If I hit two of the 3, I'm done. So if I hit 300 calories in an hour, I'm done. Or I could walk/jog/run faster and if I hit 300 calories in 30 min. I'm done. Then I usually convince myself I have enough…

I am currently taking Adipex (a brand name for phentermine) - I went to the doctor in Jan. weighing 306 lbs. with a BMI of almost 48 -- my BMI is now just under 42 after three months and I weigh 266.6. My doctor will not prescribe more than a three month's supply, and made it very clear that if I were not losing weight or…

And I thought it was hard to lost 35 lbs. so far. I'll quit my whining and keep on keeping on. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

Super job, and you can totally see a big difference! :)

Good work - you and I started at about the same weight and height! So I know there's a possibility for me to weigh less someday! LOL!!

That's great -- you don't look like the same person. Do you do a double take when you look in the mirror? :)

i use a rubberband hair tie and loop it through the belt loop closest to the button on the front of my jeans, then loop it around the button. It helps. A belt doesn't work well because I always have a gap at the waist (small waist, big butt) and the belt rides up in the back.

Yay!

Good to know, thank you all!

My goal is 1990 -- but I eat about 1600-1800 most days.

I agree that I would never choose to be fat. If I could tell my kids one thing, it would be to try and stay fit and healthy. Being overweight has affected many areas of my personal life, my mental health, and my self esteem. I am happy with many things -- with my life, my hubby, my work successes, my kids, being involved…
