Yeah I was thinking this. Just the basic meals containing all you've mentioned should make you 1200cals easy! Up the portions, or snack between on anything you consider healthy (greek yoghurt, chopped fruit and a spoonful of granola is tasty). Missing meals won't make you gain weight! If you are over your daily calories consistantly you will gain weight. I'm not really sold on the idea of meal replacing shakes. To me if you have the control to stick to a shake instead of a meal, you have the control to eat within you calorie targets. So I'd recommend logging…

I have my goals set as 'sedetary' because I can spend alot of time standing in the one spot making meals, setting tables, folding laundry, feeding the baby etc...but then I try to eat back my exercise calories over the course of the week. ^^ Yup this! If anything I'd say my carb consumption is less. I love my meat, fills me up for longer. Love my veg and fruit, bulks out a meal to fill me up even more....carbs, tasty and good for energy but not so filling to me. So I'd say they are the ones I cut down since starting. Cut down not out mind you ;)

I got my last tattoo at a stone heavier than I am now. Its on my side and seems to look just the same as it did on completion. I think I'd go ahead and get your tattoo finished if you want, or leave it as a reward for getting to target if you think it would help as an incentive.

Liver for me too, its too irony :s ! Aubergine is the only other thing I cannot stand. Tastes like eating a teabag to me. But I keep trying it hoping it'll be like olives for me. They used to taste like teabags too lol :p .

Why didn't you ask before you left the doctors rooms? Perhaps make another appointment with whichever you prefered and go back with some questions. Get your bloods done and blood pressure re-taken. Otherwise mightn't do any harm to cut down on the sugar, add a little more salt and see how you feel.

I don't want to be thin. It really doesn't suit me. I just want to be in the middle of my healthy weight range so that I feel more comfortable in myself. I love my bootcamp classes and they are more enjoyable when I don't feel my belly jump up and down every time I do a burpy. I can give more energy to my workouts now too…

I know this isn't a smoothie but I'm into juices lately before breakfast. 2cups spinach 1 red grapefruit 1/2 lemon 1/4 big cucumber 1 thumb size piece ginger 1 carrot. -- very very tasty. Sometimes I add kale too if I have any left :smiley:

I'm obsessed with mine since my first pregnancy. Everytime I went near it then I used to gag. Still a 'thing' with me. I clean it completely twice a week and inbetween times if anyone spills anything. It also has to be neat lol. But yes does wonders for cravings lol
