I cook a big batch and weigh out 100g portions. When I log, I search "white jasmine rice cooked" :)

Get an app like Libra. Weigh yourself every morning after you pee, and before eating anything. Enter your weight into Libra. Keep going. Give it 6 weeks. If your logging is accurate and you're genuinely eating close to your goal, there will be an overall downward trend in line with whatever you've set MFP to help you lose…

Under 1000??? :(

You're eating WAY too little if you're losing 3 lbs a week :( :(
-
Pork tenderloin cooked in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Soooo good.

Ehhhh plus a juicer removes so much of the fibre, which is what keeps you full. I personally prefer to eat my fruit and veg, but even a smoothie would be better than just juice.
-
Ooh also you can brew a whole pitcher and add Splenda, and it's iced tea. Really good as a juice replacement.

Awesome as a way to replace calorie dense drinks, and a way to get more water :). I love the green tea from Costco for that. I enjoy sitting down with a hot cup of tea, it feels way more satisfying than a glass of plain water.

Always be sure to use COOKED and RAW entries appropriately. If you weigh your chicken breast after cooking, use COOKED. Same with rice, oats, etc.

I eat whole wheat tortillas, 120cals for the large ones (I think 70cals for the small?), or light rye bread. For breakfast, I've cut back to one piece of bread with cream cheese or avocado or something, and fruit. I could never get rid of bread entirely and refuse to demonize it :P

I like buying canned chicken breast from Costco, and mixing 1/3 can with 2 tbsp salsa. I bring it in a Tupperware and spread on a tortilla with spinach and diced tomatoes. I also like lean deli meat on light rye bread, with tzatziki instead of mayo, mustard, romaine lettuce, and tomato. Snacks: -a baggie of fruit (berries,…

My FAVE quick dinner is under 300cals and so filling. I chop up half a zucchini, half a long eggplant, half a bell pepper, several handfuls of spinach, half a box of mushrooms, some minced garlic, a bit of broccoli. Then I get a deep pan, pour 3 tbsp soy sauce and 3 tbsp rice vinegar, dump in all the veg and put a lid on…

When I do go out for drinks, I stick to vodka and diet soda. Or vodka, and crystal light with water.

I love an Amooza cheese string or a turkey pepperette 50-60 calories. With a water mixed with flavoured Mio, or a green tea. Takes the edge off for me :). My SO and I 50/50 split veggies and salad, then I portion out my own meat and rice (100g usually) and he takes his own. I never worry about dinner not filling me up…

I LOVE unsweetened cashew milk. It lowers the calories in my coffee to only 10. It tastes great in a glass with cookies. The transition was easy because I was drinking 1% milk anyway, and very little of it at that. Non dairy milk lasts so much longer too, so I'm never tossing any out.
-
I use unsweetened cashew milk in my coffee. Though, I've ALWAYS disliked cream (even before trying to lose weight) so it wasn't a difficult transition from 1% milk. One sweetener and 1/3 cup cashew milk makes each coffee about 10 calories :)

I put paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Then I chop up skinless chicken breasts (fat trimmed) info strips or cubes, and toss them in the spice mix. Grill until fully cooked. So good on salads, in wraps, with tzatziki, on their own...

I don't buy dressings anymore, except maybe ranch for dipping. Low fat caesar: 2 tbsp light mayo, 2 tbsp water, 2tbsp lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, sriracha, a bit of grated Parmesan and a tsp minced garlic. I chop up a whole romaine heart, add 100g of shredded chicken or cooked shrimp, and drizzle 2 tbsp of the…

I love one piece of toast, with half a mashed avocado, sriracha, tomato slices, salt and pepper. With fruit and 0% Greek yogurt. My boyfriend toasts rolled oats in a bit of coconut oil, before boiling in water. Then he tosses in some blueberries. We eat it with a drizzle of real maple syrup and cinnamon.

I always pack hummus, turkey pepperettes, apple slices, pre made salads, diced watermelon, special K chips, energy bars... I also researched meals under 500cal at a bunch of common restaurants in case I was stuck. Steak and vegetables, or salmon and veg, is on TONS of menus and usually a safe bet :)

Fruit with breakfast every morning, sometimes a salad for lunch (with chicken or shrimp) or a wrap with spinach and tomato on it, a baggie of baby carrots mixed with apple slices as a snack, and ALWAYS veggies with dinner. My go-to's are spring mix salad full of chopped veggies, steamed broccoli with lemon juice, baked…

I love the classic meat/rice/veg/salad combo. I make up a salad of spring mix, cherry tomatoes, cut up bell peppers, cucumber, and avocado if I have the spare calories for it. The dressing is a home made balsamic (vinegar, oil, honey, salt). Then I either sautee veggies in soy sauce mixed with rice vinegar (zucchini,…

I use splenda and unsweetened cashew milk. 10 calories at MOST per coffee, so I could have 10 a day if I wanted to :).

I'm 5'10". 1200 calories or less EVERY DAY, and I'd throw in the towel and just stay fat. 1400-1600 allows me to lose 1.5 lbs per week. 1800 allows for 1 lb per week. These numbers mean I get to eat portions of all my favourite things, and never feel deprived or punished. This is healthy for me personally because I don't…

I don't "cheat". I prefer to fit treats into my every day diet. I save "over-indulging on purpose" for birthday parties, holiday dinners, getting a few drinks with friends. These all happen rarely these days anyway (hard on money as well as weight loss). Sometimes I plan ahead (tonight I'm going to a bar with friends, and…

You need to adjust how many calories you're eating as you get smaller. A smaller body needs less to maintain that size. Are you accurately weighing all solids (even mayo, peanut butter, ketchup, cream cheese, etc)? And measuring all liquids? A kitchen scale has been an absolute MUST for my own weight loss journey.
-
My best advice if you like to weigh yourself every day: 1.) Weigh in the morning after you wake up, before food and after going to the washroom. 2.) Get an app like Libra, for inputting your daily weight. Libra is great because it sends me a notification every morning to remind me, and it plots your weights on a graph.…

I love sweet-salty combos. So I usually pour 2.5 servings of Special K chips and eat with 4 Oreo Thins. It feels junky, which satisfies my cravings for chips and cookies perfectly. Portioning out and putting the packages away in the pantry is key. I also really enjoy having a serving of an expensive, rich chocolate (Lindt,…

Hahaha ohh man. So I lost about 50lbs in 2014, but eventually I stopped being so vigorous with my logging at Christmas time (went on a vacation, was lenient because it was the holidays, and then New Year, etc etc). Started a new relationship in January andddd gained 30lbs back between then and just recently. The problem…

I'd just log it and move on :). That's like, what, a little over 200 cals extra per day if you divide the 1600 out over the whole week?
