sorry double post

Awww, Don't judge them ALL unless you've tried them ALL. The first few I tried were bitter, and I was turned off too. A friend told me to buy several brands and taste-test them. BTW, my husband doesn't care for the texture, so he mixes his regular with 50% Dannon Oikos vanilla, and now his regular yogurt is far less…

Maybe it's just *me* but I like Egg Beaters BETTER, but that's because I have had TOO many incidents w/ egg shells in my eggs, or opening bloody ones, and I REALLY don't like the *umbilical cord* I find in some of them.....Now that's EW!!! +o( sick

They make powdered egg whites- which is cheaper still.

Edited my previous post- Egg Beaters EGG WHITES do not list anything on the label BUT egg whites (I have a carton in my fridge) There is sodium listed on the label, but same am't listed on the carton of eggs in the same fridge...

If I'm understanding his instructions, what you're wanting to avoid is complex carbs such as whole grains- FOR NOW...while your innards *rest*.... Just stay within the guidelines MFP gives you here for daily carbs...

I just resumed a *normal* diet after having to be on a low fiber diet. I had the beginning flare up of diverticulitis...the first in many years. I do understand the frustration- but it's VERY likely it's a temporary thing- often just 2-3 days, maybe a week...to give the colon a rest...then SLOWLY add the fiber back in.…

I have expressed my desires...but I ALSO have stated that I will not ask someone to violate their own moral conscience if they feel they cannot do so. Not dropping the ball in their lap, because I've talked to my spouse about it, but in the end..... I'll be dead...and off to glory.... and they must live with the decision…

you can get LOTS of ideas by perusing other people's diaries... grateful for those who open them- I really had NO clue what to even buy that was *healthy* in the beginning. My best keepers: Dannon Oikos Plain yogurt- sweetened with stevia Plain UNsweetened almond mik- sweetened with stevia and imitation vanilla Laughing…

Someone CALL me if they ever start making CASHEW milk....almond milk is OK....but cashew milk would be GREAT

YUM! Thanks for posting this! added it to my Pinterest board!

my young daughter once stole her grandpa's can of cashews- and ate the entire thing... which resulted in.....uh.....lots of running........and not the kind you log as exercise.... that was pure hell......so perhaps you're onto something....

While NONE of this is 100% accurate, using an inexpensive food scale (found mine @ WalMart for less than $10) and measuring spoons/cups is a GREAT way to get an idea of serving sizes until you can trust your eyeballs to measure ( however, I've been in maintenance for 1.5 yrs and mine STILL can't be trusted) it may sound…

I went back and perused your diary- and your food selections are reasonable, and you do a WONDERFUL job @ portion control. You are making this a do-able lifestyle that you can easily maintain long after you lose the desired weight. That's a big factor. You do, however, go over OFTEN in the sodium dep't....and you don't log…

No No I don't mind chewing it myself. That's the good part of the good life here. but the nutritionist is a GREAT idea....to plan my meals- especially to interpret those exhaustive labels. I do need someone to go grocery shopping while I'm at it. They can log my exercise calories for that.

I'll keep the interviews going. this is rather fun.

I think I might be onto something...maybe there's a real market for this??? here ya go people...post a classified ad, make some $ on the side while you work out
