I do not know the Polar watch that you had, but I can tell you that the galaxy gear is useful with scanning items, keeping track of what you have left for calories and that’s about it. The pedometer is ridiculously broken with no fix coming anytime soon... it does not reset at all, I have walked over 300,000 steps today…
