I would get a HRM. It's the only way to go. Though I think MFP is underestimating...

Agree. Pick up a HRM and you will never go back. So times I kick the MFP official count's butt. Other times I am no-way near it. with a HRM I am being accurate.

Totally Agree. I went out on the weekend to have my shoes replaced as my current shoes were blown out and no longer supporting my feet. Go to a specialty store and get fitted. Don't worry about brand or look. Worry about your body.

Sometimes yes! And you can use it when you aren't in the gym. find out how many calories you are burning when you are walking around a mall doing your shopping etc. Or doing housework etc.

The newest FT7 does have an easily replaceable battery. You just require the battery and a knife or spoon or flat tip screw driver.

Just bought the FT7 on Ebay for $135 Australian. Hreat HRM. Extremely easy battery change. All you need is a strong fingernail or bread knife to open the battery compartment. Same on the chest link thingy. I totally recommend it.

Hi and Welcome, Easy answer, being under you calories every once in a while is ok, however if you do it on a regular basis your body goes into "starvation" mode and stores all calories into fat. Why wouldn't they be accurate while you are doing weights. The calories burned is based on the rate your heart goes at....????

You total calories for the day are just based on your diet. Any exercise is additional calories.. Don't be worried every once in a while having a huge left over balance. But don't do it daily. I usually have about 200 calories left over for the day... BTW my Polar HRM just arrived at the post office today and I am taking…
