I will eat my supper around 6 and then before I go to bed have a slice of turkey (lean protein) so that my body will keep on "burning" through the night. I guess the theory is that you don't want your body to go into starvation mode and by eating just a little, your metabolism keeps working. Hope this helps and best of…

I always have my "weigh in" scheduled for Monday morning, mentally that keeps me motivated to stay good through the weekend. Good luck!

I've had this problem from time to time, what I do and it really seems counterintuitive, but I'll go to Steak n Shake (insert your fav. bad place  ) and have a cheeseburger kids meal with a small chocolate shake....my body says YUMMMMMMMMMY, relaxes and I always LOSE weight after jolting it with "unclean" food. lol…

I've lost 5 lbs since Monday! Wahoo! I thought yesterday was a bad day, but I guess my body needed some added fuel. Eat "clean" through the weekend ladies, you can do it!!!

I just purchased The Firm Express DVD series....they are 20 min each (I can do anything for 20 min!) and offer a variety of workouts, so I won't get bored. I just started back today myself, after a summer of chaos in my schedule, I'm in need of some structure and want to get myself back! It was 8 pm tonight and I was…

Your are working a ton!!! GOOD FOR YOU! But I agree that weight loss is mostly what you eat....I too, looked at your diary....you're eating a bunch of carbs....try limiting them for one week and see how that works for you! Good Luck! OH! And ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST!!!! (an omlet takes 3 minutes to make!!!)

I nursed all 3 of mine for a year each....everyone said you lose weight when you nurse, but I didn't! My body was in production mode and wouldn't budge! As soon as I stopped, I lost the weight quickly (25 lbs. in 2 months) by eating a high protein/veggie/fruit diet (I limited carbs, but you need them while nursing). It…

I have 10-15 to lose and want to tone. I always have bigger people say to me....YOU don't need to lose weight! My response is that I'm trying to get control before it becomes a bigger problem. I agree some here are unreasonable, but weight is so personal and one person's goal of 140 is another's starting weight. So it's…

Protein is a better choice of food over any carb. My best dieting success has come from high protein and low carb. I would almost switch the protein and carb number if you want faster results. I can lose 3-4/week doing it this way.....the protein makes you feel more full and takes more energy for your body to "burn"…

looks great, you might want to add a little more lean protein to your snacks....piece of rolled up turkey, maybe add a little protein powder to your oatmeal in the morning.....A great start to your week!

It's important to NOT EAT CARBS at night.....they are used for an immediate energy source. If you don't use them, you will store them....protein at night is much better to eat. If you want something sweet, mix cottage cheese or ricotta with a packet of splenda, raisins and cinnamon.....but no carbs! :-)

try to eat some protein (pieces of turkey, cottage cheese, a glass of milk) It will help make you feel full and will keep your metabolism going during the night while you sleep.
