I assume you mean fruit smoothies? I know this one doesn't have fruit, but it tastes amazing AND it keeps me full! It's a great breakfast or after workout drink. Olive oil and avacado also decrease bad cholesterol. My brother has bad cholesterol due to genetics, and was able to successfully lower it by having 1tsp of olive oil and one avacado a day.

My knees were definitely sore when I started 30DS, but it went away after a few weeks. I think that the workout strengthens all of the muscles around your knees, which leads to less stress on them, and therefore no more pain.

Are you eating your exercise calories back? I must admit I was skeptical of doing this at first; however, three weeks ago I hit a plateau. I gave in a few days ago, and began eating back the exercise calories. Today, I finally saw a loss after several weeks of nothing!

I make a crustless quiche with lots of veggies in it (spinach, onion, bell pepper, brocolli, etc) on Sundays to last me the week. Hungry Girl has some great low calorie quiche recipes, and protein is a great way to start up your metabolism in the morning!

I have been alternating between 6 week 6 pack and the trouble zones workout (ie monday 6pack, tuesday trouble, wed 6pack, etc). In the beginning, both of them kicked my butt! Are you sick from the neck up or chest down? If it is the neck up, do any exercises you want! It is said that is is safe to exercise in this instance. I have even found that I get better faster if I exercise during a cold! However, if it is a chest illness, hold off on the exercise.

Did you drink more water than you normally do yesterday? Or did you have foods containing a lot of sodium? An increase in sodium causes your body to hold water.
