Added you both! Everyone send me your beginning weigh in and measurements and I'll update accordingly!

Great - I'll add you to the spreadsheet katescleaning. Anyone who isn't already my friend, feel free to add me. :)

I'm really glad you said the KySny82! I'm up for the challenge! Remember to modify if you need to people! Push yourself, but know your limits! I don't want anyone out for injury! So I've set up a Spreadsheet to track weight and measurements throughout this journey!…

I'm pretty excited for this challenge to start... I hope everyone is getting their hands on the workout before Monday! Jillian is brutal, but she sure knows what she's doing!

Also, if lap swimming isn't for you, I think water aerobics would be a great fit for you as well. If you have a local YMCA or pool around, I would definitely inquire. I used to be an instructor at the local YMCA and you can definitely get a lot out if you put a lot in! They also usually have a daytime session and evening…

Imruthe, yes she always includes cardio! Here is a review and description! Having ripped abdominals may not make you a celebrity--well, unless you're that guy on Jersey Shore--but if you're looking to "lose weight, get healthy, and change your life," as trainer Jillian Michaels puts it, then 6 Week Six-Pack should find a…

If you don't think you are ready to be finished seeing your physical therapist, you should talk to them about extending your session. I went to physical therapy for months after my arthroscopic knee surgery to repair my completely torn ACL and 2 tears in my medical meniscus. At the time I was also doing the exercises he…

This is the sort of mentality that gets people fat and keeps them fat! It's LAZY! It's SO much cheaper to make your own batch of healthy turkey burgers for your family with a side of salad than it is to buy them Big Macs and french fries! When it comes to convenient food, sure, it is easier to be unhealthy (that's the word…

Lol... I'm sitting here thinking... she can't be serious! Doh!

Haha thanks! Your body is amazing! That's my goal right there!

Yeah! I'm not sure these Seven for all Mankind jeans are even in style anymore, but I don't care! lol... they cost too much not to wear! :P I'm glad I can be an inspiration to you and some others who have posted on here! It's totally doable if you are persistent and don't give up! Don't let plateaus hold you up either; one…

Thanks for the kind words! I'm really happy to hear that I have inspired some of you! :)

I use whey protein isolate. I order them from vitacost.com because they have great mark downs and they have cheap shipping to Australia! Woot! Look at the labels and try to find something with high protein and low carb!

OMG! SO AMAZING!

I see you changed your goal to 120! I think that's much more achievable for you mainly because you are clearly a strong girl that plays lots of sports... therefore you have muscles! Plus, I think I read on your profile that you'd like to increase that muscle and get more toned and muscle does weigh more than fat! Good call…

You look fantastic! Definitely leaner with that sexy one piece tan - I had that in high school! haha... I don't know where you think you are going to lose another 20 lbs from though!

The fatter girl pics were taken probably after losing about 5 lbs and realizing I should take some before shots! The girl with the perkier butt, slimmer arms and a shrinking belly is me 2 days ago! Starting weight: 185, weight in these pics: 152, current weight: 149 and counting! :) Everyone else looks great! What an…

Thanks Michelle! I'm really happy with my legs! Sometimes I look down and I'm like whose legs are these?! haha!

Week 1 total: 27.75 miles! All running, walking or jogging. :)
-
Thanks! MFP is a life changer! :)
-
Hey folks... I created a spreadsheet to track my mileage because otherwise I'd go crazy trying to! I've made it public, so if anyone would like to add their names to the list and use it to track their mileage, please go for it! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApJz2BRGU3pidHRyOWNmNnhyc0cyaVdmNlVyVEFSRGc

Training for a 12k so running a fair bit - think I'll try this challenge out! Good luck everyone! 161km since I'll be tracking in km! :)

Number 2!

Similar! I use a frozen banana and 2 scoops chocolate whey iso protein with 200ml lite milk. Yum yum!

I don't think that's accurate. Where/What did you read that says it is unsafe to eat below BMR? As a sedentary person, on days that I do not exercise I eat under BMR because I have my net calories set to 1350... my BMR is around 1514 making my maintenance level 1816... "If you want to lose fat, a useful guideline for…

I've set my goals to 40% carbs, 30% fat, and 30% protein. MFP definitely sets protein too low in my opinion.
-
I wouldn't cut out snacks or breakfast! In fact, breakfast is really the most important meal of the day! Load it up with protein in the morning to keep you fuller longer. Eat small, healthy snacks around 100-200 calories. There are plenty of filling meals that are low in calories... you just need to learn how to eat…

Hey! I decided to get a boost and really get back into this game to lose the last 14-20 lbs! I started the 30 Day Shred yesterday (just wanted to start on a Monday!) for the month of May! I've done the shred before and had excellent results (you can see on my profile). I also did Ripped in 30 which I found a bit more…

Just an update: I had an appointment set up to see a doctor this morning, but after some advice I decided to give the podiatrist a call. I told them my symptoms and the podiatrist recommended seeing a physio (physical therapist) because it sounded to them like something that needed to be wrapped - I think she mentioned a…
