Shoutout here for the StrongLifts (5x5). Started slowly after getting back into lifting weights after a long time away and I'm already making huge progress. Getting up at 5:30am to go to the gym so I can be at work at 7:30 sure is tough though :smile:

Amazing movie. Same, especially Blade Runner. A masterclass in cinematography. Titanic is pretty good, the first half is interesting and after the ship hits the iceberg it gets pretty intense. I liked Gravity, it's an intense movie, shot well with nice effects. Very well done for only having 2 actors. I enjoyed it even…

I have left about 2k calories on the table over the last 2 days. I simply don't have the hunger to eat back what I am in deficit for. Scales seem to think I am doing OK but I don't see it being sustainable.

Guinness is a stout. For my cooking I use either a stout or a porter depending on the dish.

There are dark and light ales and lagers. It all comes down to brewing temp and ingredients. It's easier to Google them both that to explain it here. For cooking it all depends on what you are cooking and finding a beer that compliments the dish. Guinness is never a bad starting point.

Congrats on quitting. I have been using a nicotine vaporizer for about 18 months now after smoking for 20 years and I never thought giving up would come this easily to me. Even the smell of cigarettes on someone who has recently smoked it gross to me. I'm also in the 40 pound bracket :) Good luck!!
