I know I'll get a bunch of crap for this but I average 800-1000 a day and I'm not hungry. It's what and when you eat that is working for me. Low carbs and sugar, basically no "white" food (starches), moderate protein and fat. This just works for me.

Had the same problem, missing items. Problem solved... Nice insulated lunch bag (very pretty) and a couple of Blue-Ices. Set it under my desk sitting on a storage box, no ever sees it.

Has anyone heard of it causing sleeplessness? Was thinking of taking with dinner as I've read it works better with a little fat (olive oil, coconut, etc). I try to spread the vitamins I take throughout the day but don't it to work against me. Help!

When you say 'strict carb' meaning counts or type of carb? Staying away from processed 'white' carbs ... bread, white rice, pasta, tortillas is a good start. Vegis that have almost 1to1 ratio of carbs to fiber is a plus!. Just my 2 cents.

I know I'll get crap from the 'experts' here but I'm 52, 5'3" and can eat a lot for 900 Cals, 40 Carbs, 30 Fibers & 30 Fats. Going through the big 'M' changed ALL of my eating habits and these numbers finally moved the scale. The 1200, 1400 just didn't work for me.... my 2 cents.

Yes! I agree with Rhyalus. YOU ARE THERE FOR YOU! Keep your workout clothes comfortable, get a great set of tunes and just keep in mind how wonderful YOU'll feel when you're done. And hey, the 'fit ones' may have been in the same spot you are at today (and this is only temporary one!). You got this!

I've given up white food (rice, pasta bread, etc) and keep my carbs under or at 40 grams a day. I'm at around 900 cals, less than 200 on the cholesterol, under 2500 on the sodium and fat at around 25-30 on a daily basis. I eat quite at bit of food and satisfied. For my age and situation this is how I've lost the 23 lbs so…

Hmm? Local 'Farmers Markets'? Sometimes frozen isn't bad either in a pinch mixed with fresh vegis.

Do you have the opportunity to grow anything? Not sure if you have a '.99 Cent' store near you but I can find some really great deals there. Huge heads of cauliflower, bell pepper and lettuce for only a buck!. It can sometimes be a hit or miss. Do you have Sprouts Market? They always have the cheapest produce. I live in CA…

For scales with small weighing surfaces, I keep a large dinner size Styrofoam plate handy. It doesn't weigh anything.

Not sure if these stores are near you but I check out 99cent store and Sprouts first. Very affordable fresh produce. Even try Smart & Final, they're good on meat prices & frozen vegis too.

For me Raisins and/or most dried fruit. HOLY crap there's a boat load of carbs. I simply don't even have them in the house period.
